Steps to the top bank were very hard to clime up and down. If you are not very fit, I would avoid it. Shower wasn't very good in our dome room. I also was very disappointed in the inconsiderate behaviour of my female neighbours, but it could happen anywhere.

It is in the centre of the city and train station and people who work there are friendly and helpful. I was happy with a cheap deal I had, but next couple of days it become more expensive. The kitchen is big with loads of equipment, lovely view and has a good social area.

Some of the beds were bunk beds - don’t think I’d of slept so well in these because there were no black out curtains

The hostel was clean and quiet when I stayed on a busy Saturday night in Swansea Check in and out was easy. Liked my capsule bed. Slept well. Would stay again

Hearing the other people snoring, can’t be helped though.

Staff were nice and helpful, bed was comfortable with electrical sockets nearby. Kitchen utilities were clean and available with a projector allowing for entertainment. Price of my stay was good and was able to book and check in very late.

The bathroom was uncomfortably hot for some reason. Like there was a towel heater and a room heater on at the same time. There were also no curtains, but they had curtain rods on some of the beds. Having curtains really elevates a hostel stay since it helps provide a sense of privacy, I was a little disappointed to not have them.

The facilities were quite nice, the kitchen area was kept very clean and well equipped. The location was really convenient, there were plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Bed was decent.

- The shower pressure was non-existent (a legitimate trickle). - The rooms didn’t have privacy curtains or rods to hang towels and make one. - There’s nowhere for wet coats to be hung.

The only drawback is not to do with the hostel itself but my room was overlooking the high street and I was there on friday and saturday night, both of which were RAUCOUS and there seems to be a karaoke bar across the street that went on all night. I would advice bringing earplugs if staying on weekend nights.

This is excellent value for money if you just need a place to crash at night, with the kitchen a very welcome bonus. Even though I was in a 10-bed room, it had 2 en-suite bathrooms, which was almost as good as a private bathroom as there were so few of us sharing each. The staff is very friendly, and the hostel is an easy walk from the station.

Its areally nice hostel the pod arrangment worked really well for me (I can imagine that some might find it claustrphobic) facilities were good as was the value. good clean hostel would use again (although not as a romantic getaway as in the bonus question)

One of the shower heads was not able to be raised in height due to a broken mechanism, which made showers slightly awkward. The showers are also quite weak.

Great dorms, very spacious, biggest under-bed hostel lockers I've ever seen. Bathrooms were clean and largely functional. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and instructions of guest expectations were clear. Excellent for the price, and good proximity to the station.

The showers were not working very well or hardly had hot water. I managed to take a shower but it was not really enjoyable

The bed was confortable and quite big, the location was great and the staff was super helpful. I had to leave in a hurry in the evening because there was a train strike the next day and they agreed to give me a refund for the last night. Thank you so much ✨

The shower head holder was flimsy and often kept tipping. There was also a leak at the bottom of one of the showers.

The price was good especially for its location. And the place was kept clean and tidy. I didn't encounter any major problems but one guy did get really bad bed bug bites.

Cleanliness: next to the mattress the top bunk was quite dusty/dirty, could use a deep clean. Top bunk bed was very shaky, every time the person in the lower bunk moved, everything was shaking
