We arrived too late to eat, but there was a beautiful pub just down the road

Lovely room in a comfortable Inn setting. Perfectly situated for us to visit Birmingham. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking and lovely breakfast.

The mattress should have been changed a long time ago. This not only happened to me but also to my wife, so is not related to weight, it is linked with how old and exhausted the mattress is. Once you sit on it you can feel all the springs getting pressed to the maximum and almost feeling the base of the bed. Woke up with pain in my back and bottom with a difficult night's sleep. Also would be nice to have some hangers for the towels or a least for the hands' towels.

Modern appearance and nice and comfy dining area. The decoration was nice as well. Easy to find and access with plenty of parking. Staff was very helpful and you can not notice the noise in the dining area or the meeting area from the room.

The hotel is a bit tired, room was a bit smelly and very tired looking, the carpets in the whole of the hotel including the bedrooms are quite dirty and need replacing .

My only gripe would be how much the noise carries , whoever it was in the room above me , was marching around with clogs on I think until gone 1am

The breakfast was great , be nice though to have a coffee machine and tea options rather than boiled water in a big urn

The chambermaid service was poor a list for the staff to tick to maintain a consistent service in what is done and cleanliness would be useful

Staff service very good and accommodating. 2 members of staff in particular Becky and phoebe were excellent and a great asset to the location.

The rooms need decorating and a lot of TLC

The restaurant was excellent we had Sunday carvery, the staff are very friendly. The room was clean and the bedsheets but looking rather tired, needs decorating and some TLC.

Fairly budget hotel, we knew we only needed a place to stay within easy reach of The Belfry & didn’t need many facilities. The staff were friendly & helpful, food good, room clean and comfortable. No frills hotel typical of what we expected for the price we paid

Very dated. It definitely needs a good makeover. Squeaky floorboards everywhere. Wall paper needs replacing. Not very clean.

Nice friendly staff. Good view from our window of the canal. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. Good location for the Belfry.

Beds were very uncomfortable and so were the pillows bathroom had mould on the ceiling and very much in need of updating

Rooms could do with a bit of an update. Beds were not very comfy, hard mattress and flat pillows. We were aware possible music till late which was fine but inside you could hear every voice and movement within the corridors, felt like people were in the rooms with us, we stayed two nights, the first night it interrupted our sleep a bit but by the second it was just normal noise to us so had a better night sleep. I think it was slightly overpriced for the room we were given plus it didn’t include breakfast so I think the prices could be altered slightly

Good location for the golf tournament at the belfry. Lovely bar/ restaurant downstairs. Very friendly staff, always attentive. Hotel was clean and well looked after in appearance

The rooms and bathrooms have been updated but already showing signs of not being cleaned thoroughly, looking tired already. The floorboards in the rooms are very noisy...you hear everyone walking around with the creaking, along with doors closing very hard, we had a disturbed sleep.

The location was great...overlooking the canal and minutes from the Belfry golf club. The breakfast was very good...lots of choice and all cooked and presented very well. Dinner was excellent and great value.

The curtains where tied and didn’t pull together properly . Also the outside road was very noisy . The mattress was a lid spring one and you tended to roll into the middle or the edge !

Food was a bit tasteless (had fish and chips). Walls in the room were paper thin- could hear every word next door.

Great location for the Belfry, only 5 minutes away. Meal was 2 for 1, so very reasonable.
