Air con turned off after 5 minutes, very hot. Layout of the room only allowed one person to actually see the tv as it was behind a wall in the corner of the room.

Great boutique-y hotel close to the centre of town with lots of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within 5-10 minute walk. Will definitely ya here again.

This room I stayed in was nice as the last time I stayed the room was very tired. Didn’t seem that clean though, there was a used wine glass still in the room and the bedding didn’t smell very fresh the decorative pillows definitely smelled like they could use a wash …..

I was leaving early so didn't stop for breakfast.

The staff here are fabulous and very friendly and helpful. There is always someone on hand to help. The room was comfortable and perfect for what I needed. The hand soap and hand cream provided smelt fabulous. There is a lovely diner in the basement but only stopped for a coffee and to do some work. Great selection of drinks and snacks behind the bar and perfect location to access the train station.

Great quality continental breakfast included with our booking - freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh baked croissants/pastries, delicious pots of overnight oats and homemade granola, fresh fruit, fancy tea bags and decent coffee. Beds were very comfortable with large feather pillows. Wifi in the room was super quick. We had access to Netflix/iplayer/prime etc on the wide screen telly. A view from room 46 of a church spire and hills beyond Cheltenham. Stylish rooms and feel to the place, but if you don’t like a dark decor, this is probably not the hotel for you. Montpellier was on our doorstep with all its wonderful cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques.

If you are staying on the 2nd floor and have a few bags, there isn’t a lift and no one to help you with your bags.

It’s nicely done, rooms have most things you need and are comfortable. Comfy beds, great showers, nice bed linen. Great position in centre of town. We have stayed here a few times and is our go to when visiting family in Cheltenham.

Our room was a standard double and, although it was a very comfortable bed, it was very tight to move around it, the room was extremely small. It did show that on the website picture, but we felt it wasn't good value for money as the rate was quite expensive. No tea/coffee in the room, I think only certain types of rooms have this facility, but as I said you can help yourselves downstairs in the breakfast area (free). Also no bar at the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring Cheltenham, it's really nice and the staff were helpful. Nice that you can help yourself 24/7 to lovely coffee machine coffees / teas in the breakfast room downstairs.

There was no sitting room/lounge area of bar area to be able to sit and talk to friends. Breakfast was expensive at £15 each for a continental breakfast so we went elsewhere for better value.

It was a really comfortable, conveniently situated hotel. Decor and ambiance was lovely. Very quiet and peaceful so a good nights sleep had.

The shower in our room was slightly temperamental and not the most powerful but friends staying in the hotel did not have the same issue. It absolutely didn't affect our stay however,

Bedrooms are very dark, dusty and felt cramped. Our window looked directly into the large refuse bins which were overflowing. There was no privacy/frosted glass, so we had to keep curtains closed during the day as all the residents opposite could see our every move.

Concierge/receptionist could have been more welcoming. I asked if I could purchase or borrow a phone charger and the lady just said no…. Would’ve been hospitable to make recommendations as to where I could purchase one locally etc. I also received multiple emails prior to my stay with advice on where to park and that continental breakfast was included in my room rate however at check in was told it is room only, no breakfast, despite having 4 emails that stated otherwise!

Location was really great and the interior and aesthetic was really stylish. Great value for money.

Only one criticism would be that the shower didn’t get very warm, almost luke warm but other than that it was brilliant
