Arrive at dinner was poor and value for money is shocking. Bar food menu is a lot better value for money.

The room was very old and dated, could really do with a spruce up. It’s not the quality you’d expect of a 4-star luxury hotel. There’s mould in the bathroom and on the windows, bits of wallpapaer coming off… Also, difficult to access without a car and there are few possibilities to go for a walk as the only near road is a motorway and there are no walking paths nearby.

The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The surroundings are great, there’s also a nice pool and spa area in the building.

Rooms dated and bathroom fittings need fixed to wall properly. Large bedroom was a bonus . Saturday morning breakfast time. Tables covered in plates , young staff working very slowly. People queued for minimum of 10 minutes for a booked time slot. Sunday went as should. Staff knew how to work . For 4stars expect higher quality. For a dog friendly hotel, lack of poo bins. Lack of water bowls.

The room smelt of foist/damp. We had no TV remote and i asked 3 different members of staff for one. The maid cleaned our room well made it smell more damp and took our room key which turned the electric off we were drying our swim suits and charging phones, i then had to go and get another room key which seemed to make our first key not work still only meaning we had 1, we ran out of toilet roll as there was only half a roll left for the 4 of us, i then had to go to the reception again and ask for some. Still never got the TV remote. These are all small things and did not spoil our stay but these small details could be better.

The location of the property it is on very nice grounds and the spa was nice.

Booking.com they didn't inform the hotel of our booking, consequently the hotel had no information on our arrival. Because of this we were kept waiting but the hotel upgraded our room. Something they didn't need to do but this was a lovely surprise and very welcome, made us feel special.

Enjoyed the whole experience this included the wonderful breakfast.

Kitchen shut when we arrived at 3pm check-in until 5.30pm . Waited over an hour on our main course in the restaurant at dinnertime though didn’t spoil our evening but was rather a long time

The room was extremely tired. The wallpaper was torn, there were holes in the bedding, there was a cracked tile in the bathroom, holes in bathroom tiles, toilet seat not secured properly, the screen on the television when on had lines on the screen.

Swimming pool very busy with lessons. Changing facilities were worn / run down and showers in changing room looked dirty. Left earlier than planned. Bar understocked with barman having to go to cellar for drinks. Many basics had run out - such as orange juice and lemonade. Whiskies and champagne by glass on menu unavailable.

Nice room. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed meal in restaurant - food good and staff friendly and efficient.

My family was disappointed with the breakfast. It used to be much better. And the room, maybe haven’t used for a while. Lots of bed bugs and was bitten. Normally we get 2 queen beds but they were single beds, not comfortable.

For a smaller room it was much larger than expected, buffet breakfast was great, but eggs benedict were £5 more. Staff you but helpful and pleasant, dinner was good. Bed was large, bath large.

Staff were warm and friendly at breakfast, offering different types of eggs that weren't on the buffet. Check-in was easy and quick, any question I had were answered. Pool was nice temperature and good shower

Booked superior king but was given a twin room. Asked for fresh milk in the morning for coffee. Housekeeping delivered more UHT cartons and when I asked if they had fresh milk I was told " kitchen will have fresh milk but I don't know if they'll give you any". We did get our fresh milk & we found this funny but not great customer service.

Stayed in hotel to attend a wedding. Staff were pleasant and appeared to be very efficient organising the wedding event. Didn't spend much time in the room or other areas of the hotel but it was all fine. Pleasant hotel although starting to look a bit worn in places. It was a nice touch that all guests from the wedding were served breakfast in a private dining area in the morning so everyone could catch up before heading home.

The TV stand was broken and it was full of dust at the back. The room itself was smelling rusted and kind of rotten. Some kind of ventilation and room sprays if used could have made it better. Room size was good but the quality of it not to the expected mark.

Room didn't have much of a view, drinks expensive and restaurant was quite dark.

The bar was small and a selection of drinks was limited. There wasn't much of a view from the window, just looking at the side of the building.

The hotel stood on a huge ground and looked great. The staff were nice and friendly. The rooms were a good size and had comfy beds.
