Room was very tired and dated. Repairs needing done on the windows.

The location was lovely and the spa was excellent. Staff were all fantastic. Dinner and Breakfast were so good.

Just missing some finer details- ice machine broken, no real butter, no biscuits in the room, having to find someone to serve at the bar, broken swimming costume drier, shower floods as the seal around the door broken ect

Communication was quite bad, asked for a travel cot and rang twice and emailed to get confirmation it would be in the room and couldn’t get in touch with anyone (luckily it was there in the room)

Lovely hotel, really good for the price, was staying there after a hen do so didn’t have much time to check out facilities

We booked breakfast for ten, so arrived at restaurant and had to wait 15 mins, seemed to be not enough staff to clear tables and be in the kitchen, went up to the buffet to get breakfast and no food left, so had to go back to seat and wait at least 10 to 15 mins, no eggs ever appeared, food was being bring out in dribs and drabs. The food we did get was good quality but very disappointed in how it was managed, 22 pounds for 2 sausages and a bit of bacon, pretty extreme and didn't have time to wait for food to eventually come out

For a pet friendly hotel, would be good to have pet paw wash facility round the back somewhere, to rinse down dog after a walk in the hotel grounds/ walk to Calderglen. Hotel room cleaning could attempt a revisit if room occupied, to restock towels tissues bathroom essentials and empty bins.

Pet friendly .. lovely staff.. excellent breakfast and afternoon tea. Spa and leisure facilities great.

Service times at dinner and breakfast were poor. Staff were overrun. Communal areas were sparse and could do with being made to feel a bit more cosy. Cobwebs on room ceiling were immense. Counted over 50!

Unfortunatley the pool showers are poor and my cubicle was deep in water after I'd only started to/wash my hair

We enjoyed the swimming pool. The bar food was good and great service The staff were all friendly and very helpful.Our bed room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We would definately stay again.

Our room smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. We were moved rooms but unfortunately we had to share beds, as the larger rooms I originally booked had a bed for each of of us. We also didn't move rooms till late at night so we did not get full use of the room facilities.

We had a pleasant stay. Our room had a few small issues which I reported at check out. Fan not working in the bathroom. The bedside lamps not working. There was quite a bit of dust hanging from the ceiling, oddly.

This hotel was dog friendly allowing us to stay with our two dogs. And reasonably close to the M74.

Nothing I didn’t like.

The room was very comfortable, very clean, the breakfast staff were very busy, especially on Sunday morning but remained pleasant and polite. This is not my first visit and I shall return !

We got seated at breakfast asked if we would like tea coffee and toast.took them 40 minutes to bring it to the table buffet breakfast trays were not stocked there was no sausages potato scones or eggs they had to fry the eggs on demand they came the same time as the toast and tea. I was really disappointed as we have been there a few times with no issues

The restaurant was soulless, just a big room with tables and no atmosphere. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster. No where near enough tables so bad to wait for 20 mins or so for a table. When in, we had to ask for everything as buffet needed restocked, including glasses, plates, bowls. Didn’t get tea until we were all finished and unfortunately no apology for our wait. Such a shame as everything else was great.

Pool excellent, lovely and warm. Rooms big, comfy and clean. Food good.
