Having to wait for the spa and the scalding hot water in showers! No shampoos/conditions in room shower!

The whole feel of the place was friendly and calming!

No parking facilities you have to pay extra for parking. We had a birthday party not happy with the fact that the hotel was not flexible with meal options. We were not allowed to give our guests options of starters, main meal and dessert. The food was nice but the let down was the menu choices option.

    Clean and spacious friendly staff.

Our toilet dripped loudly all night. In hindsight we should’ve called someone but wasn’t keen for someone to come in and fix it when my two kids were sleeping - wish we had a called as there was a quick fix!

Very friendly staff. Late check out was accommodated no problem.

The only downside we had was the lady who served us at reception when checking out. She was clearly having a bad morning, did not seem amused when I asked about what I needed to get of the car park that I had paid for when checking in. Also she did not even say thank you, or pass any other comment as we were leaving. Manners cost nothing !

Lovely hotel, great location for Central Newcastle. Staff on the whole were very pleasant, polite and friendly.

Although we brought our own. The three dispensers in the shower (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), were all empty.

Hospitality, location, health spa, and room were all great.

I thought the Gin Bar could be improved if you’re going to call yourself a Gin Bar then you need to have the correct ingredients to make it a better experience. Cucumber when you purchase a Hendricks Gin different mixers not just the boring old Britvic tonic.

Nice room and amazing breakfast!! Very comfortable for myself and my kids. Good to have the pool too to chill with them. Handy location for everything in Newcastle. The had umbrella dispenser for rainy day!

There was an early check in fee of £20 which I wasn’t aware of as when I requested this through booking it said nothing about a fee and gave the impression that we could check in early if the room was ready and if not we couldn’t nothing about paying for it

The room had great big windows with a great view and we enjoyed the swimming pool

The “spa” was full of children and wasn’t well manned. The kids were very disruptive splashing everyone and ruining what we expected to be a relaxing environment. There are no family changing facilities so there were young boys in the small changing rooms with us. Had to get changed in the toilets or shower cubicles where there is nothing to place your items while you do so.

Great location with a stylish comfortable room. Breakfast was great!

The showers in the spa weren't really clean. The mixed fruit at breakfast was bitter. I added it to my cereal and yoghurt but couldn't eat it. The pillows were uncomfortable.

The clean bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The hot powerful shower. The dark curtains. The friendly staff.

Overall, we were really pleased with our stay the only thing that was a bit disappointing was the air conditioning in the room. The room was very warm particularly through the night and we had the air conditioning on at its coldest all night. As a result, we found it difficult to sleep which was unfortunate.

The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was a really good size. We ate both breakfast and dinner and the food was lovely. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. We all used the pool, it was great that children can use it most of the day. Really enjoyed the steam room and jacuzzi. The bar was great to sit in for a relaxing drink. Overall we had a lovely stay.
