It was a little hot in the room and didn’t think to look on the wardrobe for a fan.

The venue, the staff, the service just all spot on! Such great value for money. The courtyard area the atmosphere of the bar just beautiful and comforting.

The bed was super comfy, but the pillows were old and lumpy making it hard to sleep soundly. The room was well appointed with everything I needed, but the chair at the 'desk' was so low I couldn't stay to work as I had intended.

Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Cosy bar and again, great customer service.

However, our room was rather disappointing as very dark and dull and in need of updating. Only one chair. No information such as local attractions, meal times, etc. in the room. Worse thing for us was that the hotel could not offer any food from 3 pm until 7 pm on site - not even at the bar although bar meals advertised and the bar open. We had wanted to have a very relaxing stay and eating at the hotel most evenings but this was not possible - a surprise for a 4 star hotel. The advertised Cider House restaurant which served food from 5.30 was not actually on site, it is a long walk over a couple of fields and much too far for my husband who has limited mobility so we had to go by car and once in the car you may as well go to other locations such as a huge choice of local pubs nearby who all offered food between 5 and 7, including the lovely Crown and Anchor Pub at Dell Quay which is only 3 mins drive away and offers a huge selection of local fish. We felt rather disappointed with Crouchers with regard to meals.

Lots of good points, ie all the staff members were so friendly and helpful and special thanks to the housekeeping staff for extra bed changes; cooked breakfast was very good and the location and surroundings were both very good. The bar, dining room and surrounding areas were very pleasant and comfortable.

The bath had some marks on and the bed cover had a hole in it. At night it was quite loud as we we're below the stairs and people we're banging as they we're closing doors/ walking and it was keeping us up throughout the night.

The outside area was lovely. The room set up was lovely. It was a really cute area.

Maintenance of room and sussing out the best way to shower. Why?. Round handles on shower taps are useless with wet, soapy hands. there wasn't a spoon left with tea/coffee so first time used two combs to remove tea bags. So removed a spoon from the restaurant.

The room was quirky but acceptable. The quality breakfast and dinner. Electric heater as the weather wasn't great for time of year.

Everything is great, but could do with a path to the canal as walking to Dell Quay or with the dog we had to walk down the main road. Not a problem as all drivers were nice, but it may not always be the case?

The hotel is really nice, plenty of parking and a good bar & restaurant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we also took our dog. We always want to book here as our family name is Croucher

More attractive bedroom & overall building.

Very good breakfast and an excellent evening meal on a Sunday (not always easy to find that on a Sunday). Lovely grounds at the back - not particularly attractive building or room but it was a very pleasant stay.

We have stayed at Crouchers Hotel on many occasions and have always found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. We always look forward to our breakfast, which is very enjoyable with plenty of choice. The meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was very efficient. The room had everything we needed. Lovely location and we have enjoyed sitting on the patio looking out over the grounds.

It would be nice to see photos of the old farm.

Your staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was nice (23). The bath is enormous however you need steps to access the shower. The food in the restaurant was very good. Overall very and we would stay again.
