Martyn and Louise gave us a very warm welcome and really looked after us. Their home is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed being guests there. The breakfast was exceptional in every way. It included a selection of freshly made cakes, lovingly made by Louise. The creamy porridge, homemade granola, all the cooked dishes, all were superb. Staying here is now such a good memory; somewhere we’d enjoy returning too.

In 46 years of worldwide travel this is the best B&B we have stayed in. It started with the wonderful greeting from Martin and Monty the dog. The large comfortable room with super comfy bed, glorious views, fridge , shower with great pressure and plenty of hot water. Large towels changed daily This is on top of the fantastic freshly cooked breakfast with a buffet of fresh fruit and yoghurt and delicious home made cakes.

There is nothing that the owners could have done better. All was fine. But as a B and B people should be aware that it is a little way into town if going out for an evening meal.

Situated in a beautiful location with wonderful views across the fields and hills. Room was spacious and very well appointed with lots of nice touches and add-ons. The breakfast, which was pre-ordered and cooked fresh, was of a high quality. Overall a "little gem"

Only a minor issue but the name sign when wet was difficult to read so we initially drove past.

Great location and view, and bedroom was finished to a very high standard, with home made cakes, real coffee bags, and fantastic shower room with lovely toiletries. Breakfast was wonderful- more homemade goodies, lovely porridge and cooked food.

The house is absolutely beautiful and decorated to a stunning level. Very peaceful and beautiful gardens too. We loved our huge bedroom and private bathroom and patio. We had our own private wing of the property.

This was the best accomodation we've ever had. There were so many wow moments that it is difficult to describe it all. It is a small pension owned by a very nice couple, that made us feel better than at home. Room was very nice, clean, with big bathroom. There was a home made cake prepared for us when we arrived. Breakfast are freshly made by owners, everything is delicious, and there is a big selection of home made cakes, that are simply gorgeous. Surroundings are very nice as well. We felt so good we didnt want to leave.

Breakfast was exceptional. Louise loves to bake and all of it was delicious. Louise and Martin were impeccable host and their home was comfortable and quiet. We stayed in 8 locations during our 2 week trip to Scotland and their B&B was hands down our favorite.

We just loved everything! A beautiful place to enjoy the nature (the view to the mountains, watching wild rabbits, birds etc.) after an active hiking day. The room was just perfect. The best breakfast in the UK! The hosts are very friendly and genuinely nice people. We would love to come back soon.

It exceeded most of the very expensive hotels we've stayed at so we were disappointed not to stay here longer instead.

A good range of breakfast choices. The full Scottish breakfast was exceptional. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious with quality furnishings. The views are second to none. Wonderful hosts, attentive to their guests comfort & requirements. They go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. They even include home made cakes and biscuits which were amazing. Really important for me, the room was incredibly sound insulated so there were no noise disturbances of any kind.

Absolutely nothing.

Quite honestly, this was the best bed + breakfast we have ever stayed in, EVER.... and we have been to plenty. Calling it a B + B does not do it justice, The place was furnished like a 5 Star hotel, the service on arrival and throughout our 3 day stay was exceptional and the food at Breakfast was unbelievable!!. Such a selection of fresh fruits and cereals, followed by the best full English or Eggs Benedict you could ask for, and as if that wasn't enough, home made cakes and pastries were supplied for you to enjoy and even a little box was available for a cheeky takeaway. The Lemon Drizzle cake was world class.

The breakfasts were exceptional in the choice , quality and presentation. Lovely home made food , preserves and cakes. And you could take out food and cakes for the day. The hosts were friendly and made us feel at home. The details of comfort provided was exceptional too - Homemade cakes, biscuits and selections of tea, coffee in the room. The room was beautifully presented with many individual touches. Peaceful and beautiful views and a private terrace.

A warm welcome awaits at Craggan. Martin and Louise are such hospitable hosts who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The rooms are beautifully designed and the beds super comfy. The breakfast all homemade by Louise was better than a 5 Star hotel and easily the best breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel. The love and care put into the food is incredible, we were even offered breakfast treats to take away with us for our journey home. The hospitality is second to none and Martin and Louise are by far the nicest hosts we’ve ever met. We look forward to returning again very soon!
