Due to the age of the property it had very little soundproofing and creaky stairs etc so may not suit a light sleeper but only added to the character in our opinion

A lovely homely cottage with good facilities and beautiful gardens and land. It was all very clean and well maintained. The field out the back were perfect for our dog to wander in and stretch his legs and our baby loved looking at the horses next door. The host, Joe, was really helpful and even provided a cot and high chair for us.

The shower could have been a little more powerful and the temperature more constant.

The property was clean and beautifully decorated, with lots of character and charm. The views were spectacular and the kitchen well-stocked with essentials such as cooking oils, tea, coffee, condiments, kitchen roll etc. The bedrooms were lovely and cosy with very comfortable beds. The host was friendly and provided lots of information about local attractions, as well as providing a hand-drawn map of the local and surrounding areas.

That my stay was longer!!

Wow wow wow. We use booking.com a lot and this is like a gem you see on the advertisements! What a magic little hideaway! Host Joe was great and the place was spotless. Everything inside the house is so well designed and thought out - beautifully furnished with exquisite interior design! Just loved this stay, and hope to come back again.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. Blissfully quiet. Kitchen has everything you need and the WiFi is good. Would recommend to anyone and will certainly be stopping again.

Blackout blinds/ curtains would be a good investment, lighter bedding options to reflect changeable climate.

The quiet location with rural views to enjoy the wildlife and pretty garden. Great proximity to WWT Welney, RSPB Ouse, Wicken Fen and the coast about 50 minutes away.

The place was so comfy and everything had been well thought out. The kitchen was fully equipped to a high standard and encluded a coffee machine with plenty of pods to last the weekend. The living room had a lovely log burner, comfy sofa and fresh flowers.. and there was a bottle of wine and chocolates for our arrival. Beds and pillows were so clean and comfy and the outdoor space was just beautiful.

The cottage is in a beautiful location and is absolutely stunning. It’s very cosy but also deceptively spacious. The views and the grounds are wonderful and is unbelievably peaceful. The vintage interior decor is a great touch. The cottage and it’s kitchen are equipped with everything you could need. The lovely host was warm, friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. The comfy beds and log burner were the icing on the cake. Will definitely book again.

Cozy cottage, lovely log burner,very quiet ,lovely views across the fields great walks for the dog.The most comfortable bed we have ever had wonderful bed linen and good size towels which were lovely and soft.
