Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI did not like the charge for the kids club. Hotels at this level and price do not charge for kids club. Also, there was not notice or communication regarding the charge. When you pay £1000 per night, getting charge a plus £30 ( £15 per child) for the kids club is ridiculous. Especially because most adults are at the same time paying for treatments on the spa.
Breakfast was very good, and service at the restaurants was outstanding.

United KingdomOur only disappointment was returning late in the evening to our room to find that the air con had been on at full blast during the day and in the cooler evening our suit was like an ice box, nothing we did to the room temp settings could rectify that so late at night.
The Manor House is set in glorious countryside and is so relaxing. The staff are there to please and do an excellent job at all of that. Nothing seemed to much trouble and there was a friendly, professional air to operations. Having eaten at the woven restaurant on a previous visit we were disappointed to be out in the evening and to have not repeated our previous experience which was exceptional. Breakfast however was really good and so was our brief lunch after a visit to the equestrian centre.
