We really enjoyed our stay at The Barn. Karoline was very friendly and made us feel right at home, plus she cooked us lovely breakfasts in the morning and was not bothered by our many questions about sailing. The room was very clean and comfortable and it's in a quiet part of Cowes so a great night's sleep is guaranteed. We travelled by car, which is probably best for exploring the island, and our host was able to give us good local recommendations. They've set up a lovely outside space which was a great place to hang out and enjoy dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Karoline was very hospitable and ensured we had an excellent stay (which we did). The room was very large and the garden, where we had breakfast each day, was idyllic. The breakfast was fab and they were very accommodating.

Karoline made us feel so welcome, the room was lovely, with lots of great little touches, like the Tunnocks Caramel Wafers!. Great location, quiet and tucked away, yet an easy walk to town. Fantastic breakfast too.

Really warm welcome and amazing hospitality throughout. We'd had a tough wet day on the coastpath and Karoline could not have been kinder. Wonderful hot shower, warm comfortable bedroom and sumptuous tailor-made breakfast. Thank you so much. Really lovely to meet you. Highly recommend The Barn!

A lovely comfortable room and en-suite bathroom which was situated within the owners house. The property was spotless and the owners were really lovely and helpful even offering to drive us into Cowes if needed. Our breakfast was delicious with lots of choice available - we really loved our stay!

So welcoming, friendly. Accommodation very clean and they have thought of everything for your stay to be perfect. Tea/coffee available in room, bathroom had toiletries. Breakfast was amazing and they was able to work around my gf dietary needs. Will be returning.

Probably wouldn't attend a b&b again that is in someone's house just because it didn't feel quite right like a normal hotel stay but it's nothing to do with the hosts or accommodation just personal preference.

Karoline and Vic were very helpful with local information, in particular about the festival and bus routes as we were attending the festival and didn't know the area. We even got a lift from Vic on the first day because our ferry was delayed and we would have got to the festival even later with the bus. The breakfast cooked by Karoline each morning was delicious and plenty of choice.

The amazing breakfast, consisting of high quality fresh ingredients and tasty choices. Our cooked ones were done to perfection, especially the omlettes and scrambled egg. The warm and relaxed attitude of our hosts who were generous with their time and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and Karoline was a mine of information regarding places to see on the Island. We enjoyed the room, which was thoughtfully laid out; good lighting for reading, plenty of putting down space for toiletries in the bathroom and on the bedside tables and a full-length dressing mirror.

The hosts, Kat and Vic are very friendly, very helpful and Kat is a great chef also! Breakfast was just wonderful, one of the best in the world! If you love sailing and wants to chat about your passion, there's nowhere else to look for, as Kat and Vic are true professionals in this matter. Their garden is a really lovely and calming place. Kat and Vic allowed us to use it as much as we like. I love to eat my dinner outdoors and it was great to listen bird songs every evening, sitting in comfy sofa, eating local Isle of Wight delicious food and drinking wine :) There's also a friendly, chatty cat in this charming place :) Kat and Vic made our holiday really magical.

First rate breakfast with plenty of choice and freshly cooked to an excellent standard. We would certainly recommend the accommodation. Lovely, quiet location, a short walk from the beach with good local eateries to chose from. The proprietor was very attentive and ready to advise and assist if required. We appreciated that prior to our late arrival she had offered and made a reservation at a restaurant for our evening meal.
