We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaWho in 2024 thinks that a banging toilet seat is a modern accessory. Soft close toilet seats have been around for 5 years yet this hotel has the noisy drop bang seats. ( Managers dropped the ball on this one big time!!)

IrelandIt was bit complicated to find the way to the hotel from the train station as we couldn’t find signs. You just need to turn right and walk around the carpark which is not obvious. We were not excited about the breakfast at all.

United KingdomI think for a Marriott brand there should be small individual bottles of toiletries in the bathroom, rather than big dispensers of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner although I have to say they were of very nice scent.
Good size room, reception and restaurant staff friendly and informative, wide good variety of breakfast items, very comfortable bedding.

United StatesI hated the chair with passion. It should be remove and put a better one since it’s difficult to move and you keep tripping on it. The key card don’t work, I mean the work one time but if you get out and try to come back you have to go to reception to reset the key card. Manager not very accommodating. I couldn’t manage the lights, you have to try all switches to work them. The bathtub it’s dangerous; an older person would fall and get very injured just trying to get out of the tub. The toilet wouldn’t flush. You have to keep pressing the button for a long time.
Conveniently located close to the airport. Breakfast is really good but greasy. Clean and comfortable. Loved the shampoo , conditioner and body wash. The room has a safe and refrigerator

Very comfortable bed and room. The courtyard window and furnishings were nice. Nice linen. Appreciated complimentary bottles of water, as sometimes forget to bring water with me. Nice little note on bedside table. Very hospitable staff. Loved the bar/restaurant decor. Top bar service loved being able to order from table device. Rolling Tapas over drinks for us is the best way to dine.

United KingdomThere should be a separate and distinct ‘smoking’ area at the front of the hotel which would prevent fag butts on the ground at the entrance and in the flower pots. Plus, I smoke and would have preferred a smoking area rather than just standing at the entrance.
Room was very clean, well laid out and comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful. Reasonable price. I will stay again when I need to travel from Gatwick.

United KingdomI specifically chose this hotel as it has room service. For me, this means. Arrive, kick off shoes, relax. Read menu, phone order. However...being 2024 everything has a QR code. I didn't want another app on my phone so I went to reception to request a menu. You know, those things, usually cardboard that you hold in your hands. Long story short. 20 minutes later I got one with almost half the dishes unavailable. I must add that the staff member was very helpful and apologetic. The menu was, like so many hotels now, geared to pizzas and burgers, which obviously suits most people. All staff were polite and helpful but you could cut the tension with a knife, sorry but I pick up on these things. Maybe it was just an 'off night' but worth addressing, mainly for the staff.
A very modern hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy access to Gatwick airport. If walking from the south terminal follow google maps and not the signs in the terminal building unless you like a tour of endless corridoors and carparks. It was good value you for money. Certainly beats staying awake in Caffe Nero all night.
