My key card wouldn’t work on my return for the main door and I couldn’t get a member of staff luckily a friend was there yoo so she had to come down and let me in

Soap dispenser being screwed to the wall so high up meaning you would be unable to use if sitting in the bath.

The bed was super comfy & the freshly cooked breakfast was fantastic.

Re breakfast: The dining room itself was lovely and felt calm, staff were friendly but the breakfast itself was a bit of a let down sorry. I had asked for sausage to be removed and replaced with a hash brown and instead the sausage was left on my plate but the mushrooms had been removed. I was too shy to say anything and didn’t want to cause a fuss so just left the sausage and had a croissant instead of where my mushrooms would have been (my friend opposite had the breakfast with no changes so I knew I was missing mushrooms). It’s only a small thing but it made me feel not listened to. Also when breakfast was served the waiter had their thumb on my bacon whilst holding the plate. I have a fear of germs and so I didn’t eat the bacon either because I was scared too. He didn’t realise so I didn’t want to cause a fuss at the time either but it might just be worth training staff to be careful when handling plates/ the food on the plate. Everything else was great but these small things make it difficult sometimes for quieter people to speak up because I don’t want to cause trouble or upset anyone. Otherwise was a lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly which helped. Thank you for taking time to read my comment.

It was noisy through the night as people were going back to rooms this was loud. The main issue is that i left my charger and that it appears they cant find it ans it was a really expensive charger and i was very specific about where i had left it

The position of our room, it over looked the car park and fire exit stairs.

Room was ok but looked out onto the car park. The room was clean but the skirting boards near the room door were a bit grubbie and could have been cleaner. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice.

The hotel could do with a little upgrade, the general decor is a bit dated.

Service was exemplary. Every member of staff was attentive, courteous, happy to help and always had a smile on their face.

My room, 52, was very pleasant, clearly brand new so I was surprised to find there was a horrid smell in the room. It was like something had got very wet and had dried out, it really wasn’t very pleasant.

I liked the fact there was plenty of parking. I was travelling on my own and getting in late as I was going to a wedding so it was such a relief when I returned to find there was still spaces

Room temperature too warm. Had to share a bath towel. Couldn’t get into room as key had to be re registered. Tried to blame us asking if it was near a mobile and it wasn’t. It was in my hand. TOOK 15-20 minutes for the maintenance man to attend so I had to sit on the floor and wait after ringing reception she could not track him down. I work with door systems so I now not to keep them together.

Hotel was relatively costly compared with other hotels we had stayed in on this trip. Wanted to weigh a bag before flying in a few days but hotel did not have suitable scales.

Quiet room facing a carpark with a door that could open outwards was welcome. Breakfast was generous.

Everything Comfy chair s in the dining room Bar Friendly staff very keen to pleased. Waiter bought my left over dinner to room 37. Also bought me more milk. Loved the coffee machine and small cup. Bath fabulous Bed huge Room on street front but even so it was quiet.

Bath tub to have a shower was high to climb into with no safety handle it would be very difficult for an elderly person to get in to

We stayed in the new rooms at back of the hotel, just a little more thought needed to go into the comfort of the rooms. Shower taps were positioned badly easy to turn them off whilst showering. No space to dry towels, no towel ring for hand towels, just small things that make a difference and no live tv.

You pay an extra £9.00 to park, but there are no guarantees there will be a space for you when you arrive or when you leave the car park and return. Also had breakfast (not pre booked), food absolutely lovely… but had to wait over half hour for food and there needs to be a bit more direction from the staff in the restaurant as customers were having to ask what to do rather than being informed of the process from the waiting staff.

We were staying in the new building part of the hotel which was lovely and clean (as new), but no room service available as not in main part of hotel… didn’t get the choice when booking

The shower was bit small and for a new build thought they would have a shower door instead of curtain which was hugging me during my shower. Tv signal wasnt great so had to disconnect phone and no actual tv aerial so couldnt watch tv.

The room was lovely and comfortable. Food was lovely and the staff really friendly especially Luke my waiter for the evening.
