The lounge area in the apartment was a little tired with some obvious stains on the furniture, it also was not the most comfortable furniture throughout. The food in the restaurants was a little pricey for what it was but the wine was a total rip off, best to bring your own if you are self catering.

Staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. The setting was lovely and we really enjoyed the walk round the lake. The spa was nice and the pool when we used it was not busy. The lounge bar next to the spa and hotel reception was a great place to relax. The apartment was clean, the bathrooms nice and the kitchenette had everything we needed.

We had a slight issue with the original room as it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Staff were brilliant and got us moved to another room within thirty minutes with no fuss at all.

Apartment was not serviced daily. No vacuum or brush provided to clean up. Charge to use the pool was high although we managed to use it free of charge avoiding peak times Staff at reception and at Spa were okay but given the cost of the accommodation I expected a better quality of staff and for them to be more professional. For a memorable weekend I expect more.

Dinner at brasserie was expensive and well under par, served in seconds as pre prepared fast food at restaurant prices. I had asked for a room with lake view and offered to pay more for an upgrade before arrival, but still had a corner studio with only one small window and door to balcony, Balcony had not been addressed for ages, covered in cobwebs and broken tiles underfoot.

Are room had allot of cobwebs inside and all Over the balcony. There were also quite a few spiders in the room More options on the room service menu specially for kids - kids option would be allot better . My son couldn't eat the adults meals due to size

The breakfast was brilliant so many different options and the fruit was nice a fresh. Staff were lovely !

The rooms are being refurbished - ours wasn’t one or two things were not upto scratch ie kitchen sink hot tap was completely broken but they repaired it immediately and offered us free drinks. Bathroom sink was blocking up. Toilet flush took ages to fill

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Amenities nearby. Excellent location and very good if you have dogs with you.

We did want to watch the game one day but there is no tv in the bar. Also not much ambience could use some music or entertainment in the evenings. Depends on the purpose of your visit but nothing else bad to say really we definitely got our moneys worth.

This property was perfect if you have dogs. We were able to freely relax with our dog at the bar and have a few cocktails. Loved the breakfast and the apartments we stayed in had great kitchen facilities.

Iron leaked and didn't function properly. No wooden utensils for cooking. No blankets or extra bedding layers. Cobwebs on light over dining table. Unclear when booking that spa6 access was an additional charge. Bed very uncomfortable. No salt left. Welcome pack of basics should include things like fresh milk, butter, oil etc. No conditioner in bathroom and very difficult to get gel out of dispenser Pair of someone else's shorts on carpet behind chair.

Views of Lake we're amazing. Size of apartment was great. Facilities on site were lovely and met our needs

I think the only thing I did not like was on both mornings at breakfast I had to go looking for a knife .

We had a two night stay. Noise and vibration from a plant/service room below/adjacent to the bedroom made it very difficult to sleep on our first night. However, when informed the following morning, the staff and manager were very helpful and we were offered an alternate apartment which was perfect.

The hotel location and grounds are beautiful, with a relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The facilities were great and the apartments were lovely, clean and comfortable. We were allocated an upgrade to what we had booked.
