Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHot water pressure appears to be an issue as pressure really bad. Couldn’t shower as temperature dial didn’t regulate the heat . ( They did offer to try and get someone to have a look but we wanted to wait till check out ) And bath took 30 mins just to get 3 inches on water including cols as hot water pressure so bad .

But the best part is the team behind it, who was always available and welcoming for any of our questions. Sometimes a 10 is something that must be given, and this is one of those times!

United KingdomOnly 3 forks when there were 4 of us but as soon as told them, more were delivered. No grill pan so had to fry everything for breakfast and no tin opener. Parking a bit of a pain as couldn't find the cheapest one recommended so ended up in an expensive one! But all in all, great apartment.

United KingdomThe key collection was a bit of an effort when you’re on holiday. It took us a while to find and it’s a bit of a walk from the actual apartment, so with suitcases or bags this isn’t the easiest. To drop the keys off we decided for one person to stay with bags and one to drop as that’s easier, but took a good 20/30 minutes to walk there and back so it takes quite a bit of time just to leave keys.
The apartment was well kept. The location was fantastic and right next to bars shops local amenities and easy to reach sights by foot. The apartment was comfortable and had all the bits we needed.

Isle of Manthe sofa bed was difficult to get comfortable on ..think it’s sank down at the back so have to lie on a bit of a tilt. couldn’t figure out how to get a nice ambient water temperature in the shower, it was either boiling hot or nothing but this is only a very minor issue which we didn’t bother to ask about at the time so doesn’t impact the review
