It advertises Meadowhall even though it was nowhere near. Overgrown grass and "Closed" made me think I was at the wrong place, as well as other visitors. There were too many gangs of asian youths hanging around and one time shouting obsenities at the police. Parking, if i had a car, would be impossible.

The takeaway opposite was the best i'd tasted for a long time. Local shop handy and Rotherham was "walkable. very quiet in the room 8 with no noises at all.

The housekeeper came into the room without knocking whilst I was dressing! The shower didn't work. 😔

We went and the ceiling started leaking from the rain so we contacted the property and ask for a different room but there didn’t move us so when we went to bed all we could hear was water dripping didn’t get any sleep

The room was very cold! I left Thursday with a cold, if I book again please don’t put in me room 7 it’s freezing in that room even with the heater I was sleeping in a tracksuit over night with the blanket! And iv lost a days wages because I’m now poorly

Not clear how to enter the hotel. Was sent to the cornershop across the road. A man there rang someone to get information l. Finally got in. No staff at all for duration of stay. I had to buy own pillow and duvet. As the ones provided were inadequate. Would not recommend this place at all

I was not sent details of how to access the hotel, or my room, beforehand and when there are no visible staff this is essential. Coffee and milk were not replenished after my first night. If, to keep costs down, guests are expected to bring their own, this should be made clearer beforehand.

Window cleaner outside our open window with no notice.. No spare towels, tissue etc Bedding covers basic, and worn, with stained, pillows very flat.. Bathroom shower head dirty and rusted stains, the air vent had thick layer of mouldy dust.. Difficult to reach Cust'Services at anytime.. No clear instructions who/where to contact before , during or after our stay for anyone for help or supplies.. All in all also, the price could be cheaper.

I was disappointed that there was no staff to directly look after the place or to monitor activities. It is said to say that one of the guest who was staying besides my room was smoking in his room and whenever I had to pass through the passage along his room I could not withstand the bad smell from his cigarette smoke. Even the bad smell was also coming to my room. Something has to be done.

The location is awful, its advertises as meadowhall but its not, its in one of the worst areas of rotherham. On street parking, not a camera in sight, luckily i could park outside my window. One the 1st night someone set the fire alarm off from smoking weed in their room. Lots of smoking/drug use around the outside of the hotel, and in the garden. Its basically a hostel but with a private room, no staff, anything goes.

For the cheap price, the room was good, basic, but good. Staff also responded quickly when I had a problem getting into the door. The TV was actually quite good, smart tv with netflix and so on logged in. Quiet rooms as well.

No staff to communicate with. Not picking up calls and not responding to messages promptly. Facilities were old and tired, falling apart as soon as you touch them. Pillows very flat and disgusting, duvet as flat as a sheet, TV not working. Worse than a hostel.

just got one set of towels for two of us, but, everyone makes mistakes sometimes..

although there isn’t a reception, we were given clear instructions of how to gain access and locate our room key. the room was spacious, high ceilings, to a very high standard of cleanliness. close to the centre and we were able to park a very large van close by.

Waited 30 minutes for a staff member to arrive to let us into the building. Sink was blocked and had yellow stagnant water in when we arrived so had to use the shower as a sink. No staff/assistance on site at anytime.

Good value for money. Adequate facilities, room appeared to be clean. Bed was small but comfortable enough for a decent sleep.
