Two people in room only one chair.Difficult to reach safe, Needs shaving mirror in bathroom. Plates for hot food were cold and hot food just warm no selection of bread only slices for toasting.would pay more for a better selection.

Breakfast was awful. It was served in one of the conference rooms with communal tables for 12 (very tightly packed). Buffet was uninspiring and not very hot. Drinks in paper cups. Self service on a new level - collect your cutlet and find a spot to sit.

Location next to High St Ken tube is great and our room on the 12th floor had great views.

Bathroom clenliness

I stay at Copthorne for convenience and mainly cost. The rooms are very tired but bed is comfy. Bathrooms are disgracefully. Showers always leak point in the wrong direction and generally unclean. The sink plugs never work and the bath mat is dirty. Tile grouting dirty.

One or two housekeeping gripes we had to ask for the room to be cleaned after the first couple of days, the room was big but looks a bit tired now and in need of refurbishment

Bathroom needed a little attention - Tap sprayed out and they had to come fix the basin plug which was stuck. The staff reacted quickly and did tend to the issues. the heater in the room as also not working

The room was a little dated, although communal areas were ok. If you are looking for hotel to spend lots of time in, this proabably isn't it. It's functional, rather than having lots of facilities.

Excellent location, close to tube station and high street kensington shops, but set back so it is quiet. As a functional place to stay whilst visiting London it is a good option.

Bedroom was tired (fair enough) .. and not 100% clean (inexcusable) … had to change rooms as upon check in to original room there was somebody’s ‘bogey’ on the wall by the bed .. in a very obvious place not hidden so not sure how housekeeping could have missed it ? Changed rooms and although cleaner there were stains on the bed valance and it was very hot and stuffy even with the supposed‘aircon’ on Reception staff were very relaxed, the lady who changed my room wasn’t really that apologetic and was eating chocolates whilst serving me.

Room immediately overlooked busy underground railway and although comfortable was rather dated. Windows externally were dirty from long term grime. In general the hotel is in need of improvement and updating. Excellent breakfast choice however a good deal of the hot food was cold.

Lots of noise from trains especially in the morning. Also, lots of noise from neighbours as there was an extension door between us. Generally, the hotel did not meet my expectations and request in terms of allocating a quiet room.

We did have an issue on the last evening of our stay .... The lights kept switching themselves on and off waking us in the middle of the night :-(
