Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe mattress on the pull out bed for my son was badly stained. We may never have noticed, but the bed was not made up. I had to ask for sheets twice! Even though the older gentleman wrote it down he said he forgot. I tried phoning from the room to ask again but the room phone didn't work. I phoned externally, and the phone just rang out. I went down to reception and both staff were in the office. Don't understand why they didn't answer.
The younger guy on reception and the breakfast staff were really friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and great view of the quayside. Breakfast was tasty.

Location is good - specially for Medical (Plab2) exam residents or if you would like to go to Trafford centre. There is a free car park which is a bonus and COOP is just around the corner if you would like to get any snacks etc

With regards to breakfast, food was ok, but I had to go through quite a few plates and dishes to find a clean one, food was still on them.

United KingdomCouldn't get the shower to work, so had a bath instead. Then a member of staff fixed it. There was no view from our window, and the rain pipe gushed onto the gutter just outside our window. Very noisy. The furniture was jaded, faded, old. . A chair had stains and a few holes in it. Needed upgrading.
The location was great. It was quiet, with safe car parking. And allowed for a leisurely stroll around Clipper Quay. Plus easy short walk to all public transport into Manchester city centre. The room was big enough, and the bathroom provided plenty of room to store all toiletries. There were coffee and tea making facilities. All good value. Really liked Manchester, a lovely, lively and friendly city centre to walk around. Guy in tourist information was very helpful. We fitted a lot in one day and would visit again.

United KingdomCould not get the shower to work at all. Required maintenance to sort it. Chamber maids did not remove dirty cups and replace them with fresh ones. Nor refill drink sachets. We ended up doing all that ourselves. Other wise all fine.
Position of hotel is very good. Easy access to trains/ trams into city centre as close by. Also enjoyed a leisurely stroll around Clipper Quay. There was plenty of room in the bathroom for all our toiletries. Which is not always the case.. Enough space in bedroom and comfortable bed. We enjoyed visiting Manchester and found it to be a clean, friendly, and interesting city. Would visit again.
