It would have been better if the receptionist knew the area as she was unable to advise on travelling into the city centre or how far the Trafford Centre was. Breakfast was okay - the milk was sour unfortunately that went on to my husband's cereal.

Comfortable Bed and a very clean room. Location was great; not even 10 minutes into the city centre in a reasonably priced Uber. Staff very friendly.

Room service when I tried to phone from room option was unavailable tried reception just kept ringing out so I eventually used my mobile to phone and surprise surprise they answered and then I was told should come down to restaurant which I did not want to do. eventually took my order. I will say the meal was good when I got it. that is my only complaint.

As other people already mentioned,bathroom was bit outdated,i could not set the shower temperature properly,boiling water was coming so i had to take bath instead

No plug sockets next to bed, only available by extension lead across the room. No hot water for the shower at all, none in sink either, despite a warning about very hot water.

The lift was broken which was a problem as it delayed us a lot. Where we had breakfast was very cold and made the food cold.

Location was excellent. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable.

The furniture in the room was really cheap and nasty. The room also needed to be updated, including the bathroom. Lifts were not always working which was not helpful for our 86 year old mother and 88 year old stepfather!

The food was lovely with a view overlooking the water, both for dinner and breakfast. Staff were friendly. Lovely powerful shower and a nice big room.

Everything was fine the room we were in does need a bit of an upgrade but it’s only a minor issue

It was very handy for Media City as we were visiting the Coronation Street studio, it also had free parking, the staff were friendly and helpful and the bar and restaurant were very good as we had a nice meal in the restaurant and it was very nice, the room was clean and tidy but it does need a bit of an upgrade in places but for one night it was good.

Booking.com mentions breakfast, but what it doesn't mention is that if you don't book it before, it's £15pp for Full English.

Parking was perfect for what we needed, staff was amazing, I mentioned we were getting married and we got ground floor to which we and the makeup artist were very greatful for.

The buffet breakfast was truly appalling. Hot items were luke warm at best. Black pudding is NOT cooked 🤬 Croissants were poor quality and hard. The restaurant was half empty, yet I was put on a tiny table behind a pillar. 3/10

Rooms have seen better days and some of furniture is well worn but bed was comfortable and room clean

The lighting in the room. Lighting in the bathroom was positively clinical and bright whilst the bedroom lights were more boudoir! No bedside lights and couldn't have just one lamp on. Only 2 lamps in room and light by the door, no light by the mirror. No plug in the sink.

Wasn't expecting a main road view. The staff were not great. Requested stuff didn't receive. My partner didn't get much sleep due to a party the room above us. The TV didn't work.

I loved the area the canal next to it. The restaurant not to far. The food at breakfast.
