Nice and mindful place away from downtown but just minutes from anywhere you need to go in Fort Williams.

There were so many things to like about this property. Location, comfort, amenities, decoration, everything was ground floor, USB charging outlets, washer/dryer, powerful shower with plenty of hot water, clear directions, very friendly and welcoming owners.

The property has such a homely feeling, very well furnished and maintained, beautiful view from the living area and very easy to access the Scotland high lands from the location.

Quiet place and great solution for a family .the structure was new, clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. I did find This solution much much better and convenient than an hotel. Very very good

The host was quite simply horrible!! She was rude and condescending. One of the knobs on the stove was broken and STILL is. We couldn’t turn one burner off and the room got hotter and hotter. We were exhausted already after a whole day of driving, and it was late. We spent almost an hour trying to fix it, found no solution and contacted the host. She was clearly irritated, did not spend even a second apologizing for the inconvenience, but only said she’d come by in the morning and to turn the electricity off to the stove. My husband was very upset, because the apartment was SO hot. So I sent him out to cool off and I spent a little bit more time looking at the stove. (As you might know, stove knobs can easily be pulled off and put back on without any harm.) I then noticed that the metal ring inside the plastic stove knob was missing. Now that I knew it was faulty, I simply replaced it with one of the other knobs, and was FINALLY able to turn the burner off. I texted the host and asked her to wait coming by until checkout and that I had found a solution to the problem, providing her with pictures to save her the time of having to come to the rental. Here is her rude answer: “I hope these go back on … you should have left it alone! I will be down at 11am.” A very irritated woman came the next day 10 minutes before check out. Without as much as a greeting, she immediately DEMANDED I show her what the problem was. Again, no apology for the inconvenience was offered. Her tone was irritated and rude. Even though she could clearly see the knob was missing the metal piece, she started fiddling around with it, and now she was able to turn on and off the burner. Triumphantally and accusingly, she exclaimed, “It’s working NOW!!!” I said it was because she had the good knob on the burner now. She turned another burner on with the bad knob and it seemed to be working, so even though she KNEW it was faulty, she decided that was good enough. NO repair made. Not a nice host!

The apartment was even better than expected! The beds were very, very comfortable with great sheets and comforters. Best night of sleep, I’ve had. My husband says the same. Both beds were quite simply fantastic. The apartment was cozy, and nicely furnished and clean as a whistle.

Honestly, nothing. First class accommodation.

Conaglen was an absolutely gorgeous, cosy, clean & spacious place to spend 3 nights in Fort William. The apartment had everything you could need, including plenty of fluffy towels. Lovely, crisp clean linens & very comfortable beds. The view of the loch was beautiful to wake up to and to come home to…we didn’t want to leave but we will certainly be back! Laurie & Kevin were great, good communication & nothing too much trouble. Thank you!
