The room looked a bit like it was half way through a make over. Some parts nicely decorated but some bits very worn, the bathroom door was really battered and the bed itself looked a little sorry for itself. There was also a lot of cobwebs around the ceilings/ corners

The location is great, really cute spot and easy to find. The restaurant was really nice and we only had the breakfast but the quality was superb. All the staff we spoke to were really helpful and lovely, I'd definitely come back again as great value for money.

Toilet roll in room 2 wasn’t put out on the holder, but I found it inside the bathroom closet. Tap in sink no hot water. Needs to be looked at.

Spacious room, warm & lovely seaside view. Hotel restaurant nice place to work & have a coffee. Breakfast excellent - eggs Benedicts v good & attentive staff & nothing was too much trouble.

Couldn't get normal tv channels like itv1 etc. Could do with a shower screen as floor gets very wet when showering.

Nice large sea facing room. Lovely and warm . Bed was very comfortable.

We were first given a room in the annexe, that was fine, plenty of room, tons of storage space. Then we unpacked everything, we even had a cup of coffee, then we checked the wi-fi ! The only problem was the free wi-fi stretched to the main hotel only, we would never have booked if we'd been told that. I immediately went to reception, and told them the same, whereby we were swiftly offered a room in the main building. It was a total pain in the proverbial to repack, move, then unpack again. Not a good start. I think this should be made clear on the hotel information, as the information sheet in the annexe even gave the wi-fi passcode. If you need wi-fi, don't book the annexe.

The breakfasts are amazing, I tried three choices from the menu, smoked haddock and poached eggs, full English, and eggs Benedict. The haddock won, 'fins' down. The evening meals we had were reasonably priced, well presented and good VFM. Our room, *9 (see below), was comfortable and warm, though it could have done with a little more storage space, or at least a shelf. The television was a little confusing to use, but once mastered there was plenty of choices to watch, much needed as rain stopped play. Location ideal for us as we were checking on our caravan at Country View just down the road.

It was all good clean, nicely decorated no issues at all.

A refurbishment to a high standard has been undertaken for this three star hotel at Sand Bay. It was very comfortable, the evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. Staff lovely and friendly and very efficient. The hotel even catered for wheat free (includes gluten free). Very impressed and we will return.

Could hear the people in the next room but unsure how they fix that! Sink was a little small but this didn’t ruin the experience & was usable for the time we were there.

The hotel was clean & modern. Greeted by staff & offered a complimentary welcome drink. Room was comfortable, bathroom clean with a beautiful rainfall shower. Smart TV. Room was warm & there was a great fan in the wardrobe which we found useful as we did find it too warm at night. Breakfast offer was brilliant & was very impressed by the range of hot options included as well as continental. Good location to visit Weston Super Mare but a quieter spot to spend the night. Beautiful beach literally on the other side of the road, hope to come back & enjoy this in warmer months.

Nothing. We can't say that we would consider paying the full £110 for this room, though. I know charges go up in the summer, but this is more like an £80 room at best.

When we first arrived at the hotel there was no one at reception to greet us or check us in. We had to wait at leas 10 mins for someone to arrive, bare in mind we had a small child with us and a few heavy bags. There is no lifts in the hotel which is also a downfall especially if you’ve got heavy luggage and you’ve drove 2 hours. Corridors were freezing cold, when we entered the room it was cold. The room isn’t too big however as it was just me my husband and 2 year old it was ok for us. The walls are super duper thin and you can hear literally everything, we had a couple next door and you can can hear conversation word for word, the couple weren’t loud however because the walls are so thin it’s so easy to hear. Pain was coming off furniture, rooms can do with decorating as well as bathroom. Mattress was horrible so uncomfortable. We were there for 2 nights and we did leave the room few times however no housekeeping came in to clean the room. We had found 2 hairss in our food in salt rock restaurant and one of the nights we just went to the restaurant to eat dessert I had got the warm brownie however very disappointing as brownie wasn’t much of a brownie and more of a sponge cake

The hotel was a brilliant find, a little hidden gem in the Village of Kewstoke. We mainly booked the hotel because of the beautiful sea view and that did not disappoint absolutely amazing I would go back just for the sea view. We did pay a little extra for the sea view and I must say it was stunning and well worth it. There isn’t too much to do walking distance however you do have Sands bay right opposite the hotel. Salt Rock which is the hotel’s restaurant was a small cosy little restaurant to have a meal. We had the hotel’s breakfast which was part of the booking cost, we went for the vegetarian full English however only downfall was that we found 2 hairs in our food which was slightly off putting, otherwise it was very taste especially the vegetarian sausages. The rooms are cosy with a nice big television which includes Netflix, YouTube etc. We didn’t come across many hotel staff however the few did were very friendly and approachable. The Elemis Toiletries in the bathroom were also nice touch. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was amazing especially as the temperature was -3.
