Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomonly thing i would say would be because of location, you could hear the noise from the nightlife outside. this was only a slight inconvenience, it did not diture me from staying or staying again. just a 5% issue.
room brilliant, bathroom clean and shower excellent, location perfect for nightlife, bed very comfy and the aircon was a dream to have in the room as it was 20+ evening. breakfast was great value for money! and very tasty.

United KingdomWe had no forewarning that there would be scaffolding removed right outside our window first thing on a Sunday morning, only seeing signs when we arrived. It would have been good to know in advance.
Great location but is loud as a result! They provided earplugs though so didn’t impact us too much.

United KingdomIt is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in... I didn't think about the earplugs on the bedside tables when we checked in but when we came back, they made perfect sense!
The location was perfect for the city centre and surrounding areas

United KingdomThe bed sheets were not big enough for the bed. The view was horrible. Not enough tea or coffee in the room. The carpet was a bit dirty and there was some unpleasant stains up the wall.
The room was fine and the bathroom was clean. We liked the toiletries too.

United KingdomThought it was expensive if I'm honest. The room was small and twin room with two beds pushed together like a double. But would recommend to people and would stay again

United KingdomI originally requested 1srlt floor, I did upgrade a couple of days before but wasn't informed I would be on the 4th floor, dirty water stains on the ceiling, the room sloped so the shower and toilet were a bit mind bending, the view for the upgrade was rubbish as it had scaffolding round it, the chair at the desk had to stay against it or the drawers opened.

United KingdomThe room was quite small and everything was on a tilt. Even when laid in bed it felt as though you were on an angle like walking into a fun house. The floor was extremely creaky and I felt bad for anyone that was below our room while we were walking around. There was quite a bit of noise which is to be expected on a weekend so I slept with my own ear plugs in although there were some provided. It could be beneficial to know of noise prior to staying. It would have been nice to have a small mini fridge or something similar as other hotels do. There was also no body wash in our shower.
The bed was comfy.

United KingdomI wish I had booked a bigger room, but beyond that the room I stayed in was not great, the drawers in the desk wouldn't close, and the walls inside the room were a bit damaged
The hotel itself was fairly nice, and all of the staff seemed quite nice.

United KingdomRoom was clean however decor poor condition, light in bathroom didn t work, remote for TV wasn’t working. Neither was phone- all of which was reported and fixed. The end of sofa bed fell off( we hadn t used this. It is an old building and this not expecting perfection but floor was very uneven indeed. Total internal refurbishment required. Poor value for money.
Central location excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast. We didn’t stay for our planned 3. Ishtar but staff arranged reimbursement of last night thank you.
