The decor although nice is tired and our room was quite dark and overlooked the scaffolding, that is all around the building.

The Staff were really helpful and the location is excellent.

Our main sash window was broken but we improvised.

Thought it was expensive if I'm honest. The room was small and twin room with two beds pushed together like a double. But would recommend to people and would stay again

Bed and pillows weren't comfortable at all. View out the window onto the roof looked like I was in Chernobyl. Strong air freshener smell all the time that made me feel ill.

I originally requested 1srlt floor, I did upgrade a couple of days before but wasn't informed I would be on the 4th floor, dirty water stains on the ceiling, the room sloped so the shower and toilet were a bit mind bending, the view for the upgrade was rubbish as it had scaffolding round it, the chair at the desk had to stay against it or the drawers opened.

The room was quite small and everything was on a tilt. Even when laid in bed it felt as though you were on an angle like walking into a fun house. The floor was extremely creaky and I felt bad for anyone that was below our room while we were walking around. There was quite a bit of noise which is to be expected on a weekend so I slept with my own ear plugs in although there were some provided. It could be beneficial to know of noise prior to staying. It would have been nice to have a small mini fridge or something similar as other hotels do. There was also no body wash in our shower.

I wish I had booked a bigger room, but beyond that the room I stayed in was not great, the drawers in the desk wouldn't close, and the walls inside the room were a bit damaged

The hotel itself was fairly nice, and all of the staff seemed quite nice.

Can hear people walking up the stairs and speaking in the rooms next door. It's ok if you're a heavy sleeper.

To say we upgraded to a king room it was still quite small, nothing wrong with it it was a lovely room but a size you'd maybe expect from a standard room.

Room and hotel have great decor, the alexa in the room was a great feature and its in a great location.

Room was clean however decor poor condition, light in bathroom didn t work, remote for TV wasn’t working. Neither was phone- all of which was reported and fixed. The end of sofa bed fell off( we hadn t used this. It is an old building and this not expecting perfection but floor was very uneven indeed. Total internal refurbishment required. Poor value for money.

Central location excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast. We didn’t stay for our planned 3. Ishtar but staff arranged reimbursement of last night thank you.

Don’t have mobility problems, but the steps in the room were a bit awkward. But I appreciate the period nature means things are a bit wonky, but this is charming too.

Beautiful period features with modern comforts. Huge comfortable bed. I liked the fact it wasn’t a ‘corporate’ decor.
