I was on a one night work stayover, and booked through Booking.com. Easy transaction, and no issues. Arrived quite late, but was met with a cheery smile, from the owner, who ran through all of the details. Room was lovely, and clean, bed was so soft. Breakfast in the morning was just so well presented, and freshly cooked. I have nothing but praise for the owners of the hotel. Its small, well presented, with a homely touch. Thank you..!!!

Sue the host was friendly and helpful. The grounds of the property are beautiful and well kept. It was great with all the little extras in the room like extra tea/coffee and milk, biscuits and even a mint each. Amazing breakfast. If I could I would give 11 out of 10

Very little really, but the small narrow stairs are not easy for “oldies” to negotiate with luggage. However, what one might expect in a property of this age. The en-suite was a bit small though adequate, and the shower was difficult to adjust to the right temperature - much too hot to begin with!

Beautiful, character filled, country home with a strunning garden. The view from the property over the Pevensey Levels is also exceptional.

The bed was short for me lol but I loved the bed.

I loved the fact it was in the sticks lovely, quiet and dark. Loved the old houses so was cool to spend the night sitting in the gardens and looking out into the fields also my home only as a shower so I was making the most of the bathtub. Had a little visit from the owner's dog in the room and felt very much like I was at home Also, the owner was very helpful as I forgot my charger so I could charge my phone to get home the next morning. The breakfast was amazing definitely would stay again.

Very friendly hosts. Lovely accommodation and very clean. Exceptional English breakfast, which set us up for the day. The property is rural and quiet with wonderful views. And if walking the local town is about a 40-minute walk away that has a nice pub with an Indian restaurant next door.

I wasn't happy with safety in the shower. There should have been a grab bar and the bathtub floor needed something on it to prevent slipping as it was very smooth. The shower itself was very good.

The breakfast was terrific. The accommodation was very high class with a four poster bed which was very comfortable. We liked the separate sitting area to the left of the door for watching TV.
