Suite was much smaller than pictured -looked more like a junior suite or a simple larger room but the price you pay does not reflect this & isn't worth it. No toiletries supplied around the bathtub so if you forgot to bring your own it means getting out the tub &in again everytime you want to use any as they are bolted to the wall inside the shower area or by the sink (obviously reflecting some of the calibre of the clientèle the hotel attracts nowadays). No phones in the rooms so you have to go out the room & to the end of a corridor to call reception -very inconvenient &not well thought out if you're having problems with drunken girls playing knockdoor run at 2am or need a wakeup call. The dining menu is very lacking in imagination & the choices are plain -I understand businesses are still trying to recover from covid & cutting costs where they can but the menu needs a revamp as it looks the same as it was 12months ago. Also a little more attention to detail needed with housekeeping as we noted on checking into our suite that trash was left in the shower area & brown marks left in the toilet bowl. 🤢

The front desk staff were very welcoming & happy to book you in & the lobby is nice & open -though quite stuffy. Breakfast is self-service & pretty decent -the servers never stop keeping tables clear & food trays filled. Mini bar has a cute little selection of beverages & some Belgian chocolates. Blackout curtains in the bedroom were great.

The only negative I found was that then using the shower that lost of water splashed to the tiles on the floor. Also the bathroom sink drainage was extremely slow when draining.

The location of the hotel is in close proximity of the centre. Stunning interior and very clean. Smart electrics in the room 😀 The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was good size, presented well and had decent view of the city. Walkin-in.shower exceptional and the bed was large and extremely comfortable.

1.checking in could have been improved. We were not made aware of the available discounts and paid full price for our pre show evening meal and paid full price when it could have been discounted. 2.

The majority of our one night stay was excellent apart from 1. Checking in was a problem. Having had a difficult journey finding a car park ( our planned car park was closed for maintenance) it would have been a joy to have had a trouble free check in(unfortunately our reservation could not be found resulting in all of the offers and facilities not being adequately explained by reception

The room was way too warm. The thermostat was a nightmare to operate and didn't change the temperature Bar was way too expensive.. nearly £5 for a can of coke??

Room - I had to ask for more towels as there was only enough towels for one person. Reception sent more straight up and received the correct amount the following day. 👍 First night excellent sleep. Second night (Saturday night) I was woken up by a lot of banning of doors, and cheering- a party in one of the bedroom. I rang down to reception. Reception dealt with it straight away. 👍

Reception took our luggage as we arrived early. So we did not have to carry them around with us until check in time. 👍 Breakfast- good selection. Staff very friendly and helpful.

the breakfast was very good, the staff as been very helpful with serving/clearing the tables/ the seating very comfortable ' and you could eat as much as you want/ rooms very clean/ beds very comfortable to sleep in.

Noisy air conditioning- I called reception at midnight and they turned it off. Bright green light in the doorway which kept us awake all night. And last a small thing, but a very dirty drain hole in the sink.

Entrance is on the side. I walked around the whole building looking for the way in. Needs signage on the door into the breakfast area & at the front of the building. £12.50 for a toasted cheese & tomato sandwich is ridiculous. Should be half that. Room service was super-slow. They apologised profusely but still charge full price for the sandwich.

Not a very pleasant view from the room due to building works etc?

Having to wait for a room. As in we didn’t get told when one would be available(even though we booked in advance)so was waiting at the bar for ages - we needed to be somewhere at a certain time too. Also the front of house staff looked at me like I was stupid?? Might of just been that girl maybe? Thought she could have at least looked at me and gave a sincere smile considering everything.
