Julie, Steve and George were super warm and welcoming. The room is the perfect cozy place to relax after a day exploring the outdoors. Many little details tell how much care and love the hosts put for the guests. We wish we could have stayed more!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this property

The caravan is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and so very comfortable. It is situated in a lovely spot, so peaceful and lots of wildlife to watch.

The drive up the track to the property. We appreciated being warned about it when booking but still uncomfortable driving

The stay was perfect - but in the area, finding an evening meal does take a little bit of a drive and prior planning, especially this time of year, best to book ahead.

Tucked away, this is a lovely B&B annex, with an absolutley super host who was excellent in every way, from helping to find the property, to making sure everything was completely perfect throughout my all too brief stay. Lovely room, location, and the arrangements for breakfast, depite being only continental style, were really thoughtfully catered for.

Nothing. Everything was fine. Be aware of the bumpy road leading up to the premises that might be a problem for really low cars. Other than that, nothing I can think of!

Very cozy apartment with modern bathroom in absolutely quiet surroundings. Good wifi, close to Dornoch (15 minutes by car), perfect as a golf traveller. Parking spot right on the front door. Very friendly host, clear communication and flexible with dietary requirements. Would come again, recommendation!

Brilliant hosts were very understanding when we phoned to say would be late arriving as we had car troubles they put the lights on in caravan and left the key for us.

Caravan lounge area seating too firm for long time sitting, would benefit being updated, toilet difficult to flush.

I really liked the rural location, beaches close by lovely walks, superstores only 10 minutes away, the cleanliness of caravan also Julie & Steve very friendly and helpful, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We could hear the hosts next door, especially when the printer was working, but it was a very minor thing. It was very quiet and peaceful otherwise.

The welcome and information are great. The apartment is beautifully presented and furnished. It was sparkling clean and had lots of little extra special details. The crockery, glasses and cutlery are all lovely, as are the soft furnishings. We only stayed one night but wished we had booked for two! Someone else commented on the t.v. being in the bedroom and not the seating are, but I liked that, as I sat reading and enjoyed the views plus had breakfast without the news on in the background. My hubby watched a little bit of t.v. before going to sleep and was really happy that it was in the bedroom. We had an amazing continental breakfast that we couldn't even finish. There is so much choice, and it's beautifully presented, mostly set up in the fridge with juices plus milk. My husband started to eat it the evening before! The apartment is at the front of the house as you approach, so you don't even see the front door on the side of the host's house. There is a static caravan at the other side of the house, which you do see, but it didn't bother us. Each has its own parking space. There is an outdoor seating area just for the apartment, where you can sit and look at the garden, field and woods. There is even a resident phesent who comes to hoover up under the bird feeder, where we saw a woodpecker, goldfinches and a variety of other birds. There is a long bumpy track up to the house, but it's fine when you go slow. It's 10ms drive to Dornoch where there are great shops and eateries plus one of my favourite beaches.

Be mindful if you have a VERY LOW car like my Toyota yaris as the road is used by tractors and has a high incline in the middle. My technique was driving on the edge of the track which worked magic… until my mother decided to drive the car😅. This in no way deters me from booking again… we will just be bringing her car next time!

My mum & I absolutely loved our (caravan) short break away & we were a little sad to leave but we will definitely be back- this place is a gem! The information sent made finding this place so much easier and communication via telephone & email is easy too. Lovely welcome upon arrival and on entering found Julie & Steve had included plenty of extras to make our stay much more comfortable- so thoughtful! Initially it was just myself that was travelling & so the rooms were prepared for 1 guest but they did accommodate at the last minute when I brought my mother- which I appreciate. The downy bedding had me sleeping like a princess and snoring like a hog because I had the most amazing sleep! Guest WiFi worked great, (I’m not sure how others couldn’t connect) you simply scan the QR code on your phone camera. About 10 mins either side of Tain & Dornoch where there are sights and beach etc. Also the caravan/b&b is right next to the forest where you can walk for 20 miles in peace (if you wanted to). Peace & tranquility is what you’ll find in this beautiful setting with the song of birds, pheasants and the burn. Thank you both (&George) for a fabulous stay!!

My husband who loves to watch tv, would have preferred the tv to be in the sitting area, I on the other hand could quite easy live without, men!

Host was very helpful & welcoming. Wonderful continental breakfast, immaculately clean, peaceful, lovely comfy bed, have already given details to a fellow traveller.

Great location in the Highlands with a lovely en-suite facility. Breakfast was delicious and enough for lunch as well! Very helpful owner with their friendly retriever!
