There is no kettle in the room, only a small coffee machine that only makes espresso coffee. We would have liked the option of tea and more choice of coffee ( latte, cappuccino etc).

What an amazing hotel, we had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Claridges. The hotel decor is stunning and our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and that applies across the board, from reception, to dining to housekeeping, we have never been so well looked after. The food is amazing too, all in all a fabulous and exceptional hotel.

Everything really. From arriving to leaving. We were made to feel really welcome by all members of staff. The hotel is immaculate. Our room was very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful.

Breakfast - We decided to take breakfast at Claridges. The choice of food and the location was fantastic. Service was generally good. However, we were ordered fruit and then something hot. Both courses came together and my wife ate her poached eggs first, but they were on the cold side. We should have mentioned this to be fair. For the price we paid, I thought they should have staggered delivery of food and ensured everything was hot.

The Hotel lived up to and exceeded expectations. The staff from the first point of contact to leaving were friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much of a problem. We pre booked fumoir lounge for evening drinks (They were busy too) and the spa too. The room was excellent. Decorated to a high standard, very clean and plenty of amenities. The bathroom was large, clean and very good. We are spoilt for choice for very good hotels in London, but we would happily return to Claridges.

A room large enough for each of us to be able to sit in an easy chair to watch TV.

We enjoyed the location, the staff and the food. The room was quite small considering the price, but I guess that's what you get with London real estate costing what it does.

The price of breakfast

Everything! Lovely big comfortable beds, staff lovely and very smart. Very clean and the decor was beautiful. Nice bum washing facility and warm toilet seat!

I was charged for drinks that I had never had as I was out for the day, so it’s concerning that £90 had been charged to my room, which had not been validated properly. I disputed this on checking the bill at checkout and the gentleman promptly removed the charge, and I settled the difference. However I then discovered that the disputed amount had been charged to my credit card as a separate transaction nonetheless. I rang up the hotel and it was quickly resolved and the lady apologised. However it was unfortunate that a) someone had been able to charge drinks to my room in the first place, and b) despite the charge having been removed from my account I had been charged anyway and required me to ring up and resolve it. I don’t expect that from somewhere like Claridges.

Very attentive staff. The room was beautiful. Good location.

The Christmas tree if you can it a Christmas tree that wasn't, it was awful and generally the decorations lacked warmth .A big let down when you compare previous years at Claridges. (Our seventh )
