There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

The location was perfect for us; a brief walking distance above Ventnor and offering a terrific view over the English Channel. The rooms were well sized, nicely furnished, and more than met our needs. We very much appreciated the owner’s kind offer for us to gain entry earlier than the standard 3pm time

No fault of the apartment, but some people might like to know that the half mile walk to the Esplanade was via a very steep hill. Although our 7 year old is not over-exuberant there was a complaint from the residents of the flat below about their ceiling vibrating when he was playing. Seems to me to be more of a fault with the construction of the building than the behaviour of guests.

The decoration of the apartment was immaculate. Tasteful wallpaper, attractive furniture, high celings all went to make it a cut above the average. Two en suites and dressing rooms were a boon and the kitchen was large and well laid out. Private parking was a boon.

No EV charging facilities at property. virtually non-existent public EV charging facilities in Ventnor.

it was cold when we got there, equally the heating worked quickly once we figured out the thermostat and I think everyone understands the issues with fuel costs right now!

A small welcome pack would have been nice but I appreciate belts have to be tightened.

Beautifully decorated period apartment. Comfortable and spacious. Close to the town centre ( a steep walk but so is all of Ventnor).

Security issue with the Ring camera inside the hallway of the property. Driveway entrance is on a blind bend so difficult when crossing the road whether by car or on foot.

Location was close to the town centre and a manageable distance to the beach. Allocated parking worked well

The implication that there was an outside space was a little mis-leading. There was a communal sitting out space which was mainly in shade.

Lovely to be able to see the sea from the apartment. The apartment was large and airy, clean and very comfortable. Having parking was important too.

The only negative thing was that there was a street light outside of the main bedroom window, the window only had venetian blinds and so the bedroom never really felt dark. Ok if you're used to city living with street lights, but we're not! A good pair of blackout/interlined curtains would be a great addition.
