The staff went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They offered me a different room on hearing that I am a light sleeper so that I could get the best night’s sleep. The room was spacious and clean as well as comfortable. The breakfast was really good.

There was no hairdryer in the room & I hadn't noticed until after my shower. It would have been nice to have had hand towels as well.

I didn’t see a staff member when leaving the key at the desk, but was going to mention that our bathroom extractor fan didn’t go off at all the whole time we were there, any intended delay when the light was off didn’t happen. Also water in the shower would only reach a slightly warm temperature. A boost button outside the bathroom only seemed to heat the bathroom radiator.

Lovely, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Our bedroom seemed new and was very comfortable and warm. Both our room and shower room were immaculately clean.

No information about how to work the heating in the bathroom. New system obviously where you boost the hot water and towel rail. But no instructions hence cold bathroom and lukewarm shower on first morning. We worked it out ourselves but a card on the wall with instructions would have been good. Also no hairdryer in room which I didn’t find out until I had wet hair. Had to collect one from reception. A book in room with all this information would have helped and made a good stay into an excellent one.

Hard to criticise anything about this hotel, especially at this price point as it is being, nicely refurbished. It is run by pleasant and efficient staff which makes a stay at any hotel much more agreeable. It isn't Claridges but then you aren't paying Claridges prices!

Staff were most helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely with a good choice. there is ample FREE parking. All in all a great location for Deepdale stadium with some lovely green spaces in the locale.

In general, not much could have been better.

I arrived late due to a train cancellation and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Great sized room in their new extension. Very good breakfast in the morning and waited there in the lounge for the next available train to Edinburgh. Will know where to go if I am in preston again.

Breakfast was plentiful but rather overcooked. Fresh lilies in the foyer were lovely but not good for people like me with allergies.

Good value for money as it included car parking and breakfast. Convenient for Lancaster University. Within walking distance of a reasonable pub for evening dinner.
