Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BruneiThe stairs to the room might make carrying luggages up difficult. So, carrying light luggage might be better.
It was a comfortable stay, peaceful and quiet. Very near to town centre (to Tesco and Boots). The laundry facility is available for use (within the allowed time). There are gardens within the vicinity to hang about. The toilet was clean. The dorm feel, made me think of uni.

My room was single, but with two rooms. At the room I had coffee and tee and hot water maker. Location I would say is at center. WiFi was also very strong. I stayed at central old building. Showers ar located at the end of each corridor.

CanadaThe listing photos and wording suggests you might be staying in the old court, but instead you are in the brutalist 70s building hidden at the back - It was fine but this should have been clearly stated as did taint our experience somewhat
Great check-in experience with friendly staff, good facilities in the room and a great breakfast

PolandPleasant historical building where you can (almost freely) roam into the garden, the courtyard... Beds are up to hotel standards for this price range. Staff is very friendly and helpful (you can leave your luggage at the porters room) The bedrooms for two with breakfast included are a quite a good deal !

ItalyThe College could invest a bit more on the variety of the breakfast - some vegan / gluten-free options; better labelling of things. The breakfast was good (no real complaint), but I felt it was not very well managed. Just a little more attention on details.
Location is perfect (at the very heart of Cambridge). The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was rich - you do not have all the services and facilities of a 4star hotel, but the experience of staying in a college is always fascinating (the gardens, the atmosphere, the Cambridge style...).

United KingdomThere were only a couple of outlets in the room and no handbasin. The stairs made it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
A brilliant opportunity to stay in a beautiful Cambridge college in the centre of town. The gardens were fabulous and the staff supremely friendly and helpful. The room was huge and had a lovely view.

United KingdomI think the porters could be a little more friendly but perhaps they are just under quite a bit of pressure with the numbers of guests staying. I imagine this is not their normal term-time routine.
Beautiful college and the room was adequate, and as expected, for what is student accommodation most of the year. The cooked breakfast was ample and very varied. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the porters lodge after checkout.

CanadaBreakfast was expensive and sadly under-performed. A cynic might have said it was a "total rip-off." Still, nobody forced us to eat there. Just didn't go back. Having the bathroom next door was moderately inconvenient, but we knew that before hand and had packed a bathrobe.
Room was large, bed was very comfortable. Closet space was adequate. Great location, loved the history. Good choice of restaurants in the area. Buttery was a great spot for nightcap(s).

Estoniathe price is quite high
The atmosphere in the area is wonderful-peaceful, quiet, a lot of plants and flowers. Located right in the center of Cambridge ( 10 min by bus from the train station, 5 min walk from the bus station). The rooms we booked were different-single ones are much fresher than double ones. Breakfast was plentiful ( full English, cereals, some fruits, yogurt, pancakes) Very helpful staff-allowed us to leave the luggage till the very evening.
