Toilet and shower room opposite the bedroom smelt a bit fusty. Nothing horrible, but could maybe do with more airing from time to time as there is a fan but no window.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the Darwin garden. Excellent location to explore Cambridge and at a good price. I would definitely stay again.

The one drawback for me was the number of stairs required to access the room.

I wasn't expecting the en suite. Pleasant surprise! The location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and comfy bed made for a happy stay.

In-room taps have very narrow water flows.

Missed a TV in the room, but can understand why, as old building and sound can be heard from other rooms.

Very helpful, particularly the porters. Allowed us to leave our luggage in the Porter's Lodge after vacating the room to allow us to explore Cambridge more.

The location was perfect, being right in the centre of town and close to supermarkets, restaurants, shopping and pubs. The student accomodation I stayed in was a modern ensuite room which was perfectly suitable, clean and additional tea/coffee supplies were provided daily. I also had access to a kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge and 2 ring hob. There was no oven, but this wasn't a big deal for a short stay. The best thing was the special and historic nature of the buildings, it was a real privilege to be able to stay in such a building. It was also very secure with keycard access,

Location of the college was superb - right in the centre of Cambridge and added bonus of a taxi rank directly across the road from the entrance to the college. We were room only, so didnt experience the food in the college.

Our particular room ( double) was overlooking Kings Street, this is a bus route and has several bars located nearby so there was traffic and noise, this would be worse if you needed to open the windows.

Location is fantastic - very central and everything is in walking distance. Breakfast is good - in an old college hall. Room is typical student accommodation with small bathroom (wet cell) that seem to be added later.

The bathroom, which I was alone using, was not cleaned before I got there (or at least there was a used towel on the floor). Also, the walls are thin, so not ideal for light sleepers.

The room was very comfortable, the college is beautiful, central location. Checking in and out was a breeze. Altogether, very happy with my stay.

floors squeak a bit but didn't put us off and a few people shouting after hours but this was outside the college and not their fault in anyway

Windows overlook the street so a bit noisy at times but mostly bearable.

We really missed a lamp near the bed.

Nice that we were able to leave our luggage at the porter's lodge both before and after our stay. The bed was comfortable and the kettle was practical.
