Nothing that I can think of.

Very nice private grounds. Friendly staff, nice decor. My room was very comfy. Big windows, nice bathroom etc etc. Lots of small thoughtful touches. Also great breakfast.

A tray for the cups. The only clock was on the telephone which the numbers far to small to see. The shower screen was full of scum, which only needs some LimeLite to clean. The bath needs replacing, and the toilet seat would not lift up without tugging and then the underneath stops had perished and were filthy. Taps on the basin also needs LimeLite. Just generally needs a new bathroom. Pillows were odd.

The breakfast was really lovely. The lounge was laid out really nicely.

If there was one thing I would say it would be was the décor in the bathroom was a little tired and I personally like a higher toilet but just because I have a bad back (just a suggestion if in future you do refurb) . This would definitely not put me off returning as I understand this may be costly and times are hard. Keeping this lovely place open is far more important!

We arrived to be greeted by a lovely lady, who was really helpful and lovely even though she was very busy she made time for us. We were asked if we wanted an evening meal but were also told about other eating options around the local area so no pushyness to eat at the hotel, which was refreshing. After being shown the menu we chose to eat at the hotel due to a day of driving and then we arranged a time to eat after we settled into our room. We were so pleased we chose to eat at the hotel as the food was wonderful our compliments to the chef, especially for the mushroom soup :). We actually couldn't quite finish it and we are big eaters!!The lady at reception also served the food and drinks and dealt with the bar and always kept checking we were ok and if we needed anything, which so lovely especially as she was attending to all. We had breakfast in the morning and again it was amazing (same lady serving), the butter was beautiful locally made (I would have loved to have brought some) all the food was locally sourced and it was lovely to see this (the back of the menu had who they were on). The bedroom was a good size and clean, we had a four poster bed which was comfortable and had added bonus of plugs next to the bed which was helpful for me. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return to hopefully explore the outside area as the weather wasn't being kind enough for us to sit outside. Thank you to all the staff.

Nothing really - at least for a one day stopover.

Somewhat offset location but easy to reach by car; parking available on site; inviting stylish interior; very friendly staff, ready to assist as necessary; clean spacious accommodation; very nice breakfast; tea time and dining possible at own restaurant or in walking distance near by.

Lots of cut grass on the walkway getting stuck In our luggage. Television was not good, kept losing the signal. But really not important.

Gardens were lovely, wisteria was beautiful. Rooms were large, well appointed. Big bathroom, proper king size bed. The staff were awesome. Great breakfast.
