We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe most amazing location, stunning walks not too far away, and a lovely beach 12 min drive away. The hosts were so welcoming that they left us everything we needed for the weekend (bacon, eggs, bread, milk) and some lovely extras. Honestly, the loveliest place we could have stayed. Our new home away from home! Utter heaven.

United KingdomWe loved our stay at Chez Marguerite. It had everything we could need for a weekend away, plus a few luxuries and thoughtful touches. The hut was surprisingly spacious and an easy walk from Holt. We also very much enjoyed our feline visitors: Mackerel, Ralph and Boots. In fact, we had such a nice time that we decided to stay an extra night, which Karoline was happy to arrange despite the short notice.

The hut was tastefully decorated and furnished with lots of thoughtful touches to add to the comfort and experience. The location was great for exploring the area. The pre visit information was detailed and very helpful with prompt responses from the owner to any enquiries. We arrived on a wet and windy night to find the log burner set for a fire. Such a bonus. The hut was toasty warm and cosy very quickly. We will return!

United KingdomNot exactly a dislike but we were regularly visited but the owners cats which are extremely friendly, the downside is my issue as I am allergic to cats we couldn't appreciate them at all.
The quiet location, the attention to detail in the hut. The supplies left for us by the owner, breakfast, milk, fruit juice and snacks. Everything we needed for our long weekend. The walk to the hut is through a wooded path that is lit up at night which adds a little magic to the experience.

United KingdomIf I must mention a negative: it’s really handy having an Alexa in the hut, and we used it a lot — but frequently got “booted off” because someone in the main house was using the account. (A family plan would help with that). There was also a big party in the main house one night, and while it luckily didn’t keep us awake after all, it would have been courteous to warn us in advance rather than returning to a full drive of cars and loud music.
We loved the hut, tugged away at the end of the owner’s garden, in the woods ans accessible via a designated path. The hut is super cosy, and Karoline supplied delicious breakfast ingredients and even homemade brownies!

We visit the area alot and have friends nearby. We decided to book a last minute overnight in Easter weekend for a little getaway and were over the moon to find this was available. A perfect quiet location, great attention to detail in the hut, absolutely spotless, a lovely breakfast left in the fridge for us as well as other gluten free goodies to cater for my allergies. The owner Karoline dropped me a line to let me know the hut was ready early and the communication throughout was wonderful. We have rebooked again for August for my birthday. My boyfriend is 6ft 3" and was still very comfy in the bed. As cat lovers, we were delighted to be visited by Mackerel the tabby, who also stayed the night with us, giving us a real home from home experience! Obviously if are not cat lovers you don't have to allow him in! Loved that there was no TV, so we enjoyed the hut and garden listening to the Alexa, and playing the card games they have for you to enjoy. Can't wait to return and already recommended it to all my family!

The food left for our breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had everything we could have needed and the home baked chocolate brownie was just fabulous. The location is ideal for Holt and all the beautiful towns and villages nearby. Beautiful gardens and very quiet and peaceful. An absolutely perfect short break for the two of us
