The property could provide kitchen towels, kitchen paper, cling film, foil and sponge. The main bathroom could do with having a shower facility so that you can wash hair or you can rise the bath tub after being used. Both bathrooms could have toiletries shelves.

The attic access has steep stairs and although the bath is lovely it misses not having a shower facility on that floor.

The facilities were perfect for the family. It was well fitted out and cosy. In addition the location made it easy to visit the beauty spots around the area.

Bugs! Spiders and flies everywhere but it is in the countryside so it can’t be helped. Top floor was soo hot but fans were provided.

Really nicely done out. Attention to detail, lovely, little additions like milk in the fridge, a well equipped kitchen. It had everything you could need in a lovely setting with lovely views.

There was absolutely nothing that we did not like.

This property was incredible and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. any communication throughout our stay was responded to straight away. I needed to book this place in a hurry, because we were let down by our first choice of accommodation. The first property we had arrived at in Devon was horrendous, so we needed to find somewhere quickly. This was booked early in the morning and we checked in later that day. Louise and Mark were so accommodating, allowing us to go and leave our luggage there whilst they finished off getting the place ready for our check in, so we were able to meet them for a chat and they were just the nicest people. Their adult son was there helping them too, which I thought was a lovely touch, he was equally as nice and friendly. 😊 We arrived back later in the afternoon, and to say we were delighted with the cottage was an understatement. The place had a modern, fresh feel to it and we all thoroughly enjoyed being there. It was immaculate. The facilities in the kitchen were just like home from home it had absolutely everything we possibly need. The place was just lovely. A bottle of Prosecco left on the kitchen side for our arrival was just such a nice touch and the icing on the cake. 🥰 Lovely bedding, lovely towels, sofa was super comfortable and so were all of the beds. The setting was absolutely beautiful with cows in fields opposite and amazing views all around. We were 4 adults and 3 boys (aged 8, 10 and 11) and we had plenty of room. I cannot honestly recommend this property enough and anyone visiting it will be delighted with it, I am certain of that. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. Only downside was the VERY creaky floorboards on the middle floor. Could be an issue with younger children sleeping as it was very loud when people walked about in rooms above.

Loved the house, space and design. It felt clean and well decorated. There were a few little bits that needed attention in the downstairs area (skirting boards by front door) but overall very nice. Lovely gifts on our arrival. Great views from the windows and a lovely space in the garden for our dog to play.

The parking area needs some gravel put down. After heavy rain it was very claggy with huge puddles. We had to put our walking shoes on to get to the car to go to a wedding.

Needs some final finishing touches such as hooks in the shower room and bathroom for clothes etc, waste bins in bedrooms. Couldn't find an information book about thd cottage and facilities but all of these are minor and would not deter me from booking this cottage again.

The duvets were 13.5 tog and rather too warm and heavy for summertime.

The location was so peaceful with beautiful country views, and we were given clear instructions for how to find it. The house was attractively decorated and furnished inside, and equipped generally with all we needed including fans. It had been well cleaned inside. The welcome gifts were much appreciated. It was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 1 child.

A guest book with local recommendations would have been good. Curtains at the windows would have been great, or, blackout blinds. Copper bottomed pans don't work well on an induction hob.
