No extraction fan in bathroom. Opened the window after shower but couldn't close it, which opened onto fire exit. Major security issue. Bed was not very comfortable. Could hear voices from adjacent room.

For the price is was acceptable The stairs and hallways need a good clean loads of dust which clearly been there a long time

The shower in our bathroom had no thermostat so the water would be scorching hot or freezing cold, bath was fine to use.

The breakfast was great value for money, the staff were attentive and were able to oblige with any queries or concerns

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I'd like to give a particular mention to Millie on reception who undoubtedly went the extra mile, switching us to a room inside the hotel rather than in the annexe and providing us with ice buckets, cutlery etc when we arrived late and weary and needing sustenance. I would further add that it was an extremely well-appointed and pleasant room

Great location for our day at the races, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We had an evening meal in the bar which was excellent. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable

The shower was not brilliant as the shower head needed attention due to the connection was wearing out, It has been reported also there was no instructions for the coffee machine which would have been useful and some of the coffee pods had been used but was not a major issue for us as we were only there for 2 nights .

The breakfast was nice if you like to eat just English breakfast and every day the same. I missed some fresh fruit or some pastry different than just a toast. Since we stayed more nights in a row it would be nice if the breakfast wasn´t 100% the same every day. But overall it was totally ok :)

The hotel is at a good location - very short walking distance to the city centre, to shops, restaurants and to a park. The staff was very friendly and we also used the offered luggage storage and parking (quite a lot of space for parking and we didn´t have to pay extra for parking which was great). Our room was not special but nice and clean - good value for the price.
