No bar , we arrived at 10.30 . they didn’t answer the phone when we were ringing to say we were stuck in traffic?? The staff didn’t seem to care less wether we stayed there or not

Water was either freezing or scalding. Bathroom was a bit rough round the edges. Tv hard to operate

The cleanliness and state of the bathroom, plus a few items in the room that need addressing before you can call this a superior room. Very dated and needs a better cleaning staff.

There were no water bottles in our room, which was a bit disappointing as those small touches really enhance the overall experience. While the breakfast was decent, it l didn’t feel worth the £10 charge. A few improvements in these areas would significantly elevate the stay

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The location was excellent, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Overall, both the service and setting contributed to a wonderful stay.

We had a suite upstairs. The room was very tired, needing refurbishing. Decor very poor. Shabby. Unwelcoming. Large empty space needed rearranging and sockets at bedside. The main issue was the plumbing shocking!! Shower so hot you couldn't use it. Our group were in 3 rooms and each of us had issues with shower too hot or too cold. Very difficult to adjust even after plumber had done his best.Drains not draining water away. The cold water tap in bath continuously tricking, wasting water!!! Also in the toilets downstairs. Wasting gallons of this. Vital commodity!!! Also I felt more staff were needed.!

Staff were amazing. Always smiling and exceptionally polite at all times and couldnt do enough for you, when having to continuously deal with all the complaints and issues from guests. They deserved a medal. The food was also very tasty, and good value as we also had a 20% discount.

Shower head didn't allow the water out sufficiently, hot water too hot and couldn't turn it down. Bedding had marker pen marks and faint yellow stains. Side of the bed had dirt on.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable, bathroom dated, and no extra blanket for colde4 nights. I would rather use an extra blanket than a heater. The salad I had didn't match the description on the menu. Ceaser salad was lettuce, garlic bread, salad dressing, no chicken, etc. i got a strip of bacon later after bringing it to the attention of the waiter..

The hotel was spacious, staff friendly, and the room had a mini fridge iron and ironing board in the bedroom.

Room smelt musty - even the towels smelt musty. Breakfast was expensive so didn't bother. Went to Morrisons instead.

Good shower, bed was comfortable. Convenient location. This hotel had some terrible reviews but was better than expected. Was literally only there for 12 hours though.

Bathroom needs attention. Fan cover on ceiling coming away and shower very hot had to use a towel to try and make temp setting go down as extremely stiff but still too hot. Shower ceiling in need of repairing asbadly stained in places. Window blind in room next to entrance of hotel broken gave a bad impression made it feel rough from outside but hotel was very good shame to let something small that can easily be fixed create wrong impression.

Very comfy bed nice public areas good WiFi very quiet area enjoyable stay. Liked having a proper wardrobe and liked the fridge in our room for fresh milk as hate uht milk it was good windows opened to a decent gap as no air conditioning and fan helped keep cool but sure that's temporary. Would definitely stay here again as staff were friendly and slept very well while visiting 90 yrs old family member.
