Our second stay. Very clean and comfortable, excellent views, nice welcome pack wine, biscuits, peanuts, great welcome back from Kath and Kevin bonus this year we got to use the washer in the garage which was a big help as stayed for two weeks. Love the dogs Finley and Bertie. Loved sitting outside on the patio and bench taking in the views.

Was very dusty, lots of spiders and cobwebs everywhere, skirting boards and blinds were dirty. Maybe just needed a good spring clean. WiFi a bit hit and miss and couldn’t get any of the apps to work on tv (Netflix, paramount etc.) plug in bathroom didn’t work as seal missing, and could have done with some extra towels.

Lovely property, great location as was near family. Hosts were very friendly, had everything you would need as a base. Nice decor, can see it had been newly renovated. Gardens beautiful and nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Tea, coffee and a bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Just remember to bring some milk!

The most comfortable and well-appointed bedroom you could wish for. Peaceful, great views and super comfortable bed with lovely linen. Kitchen had everything you need and a few other bits, olive oil, teabags, a nice touch (plus a bottle of wine on arrival) Great location, parking excellent, you can walk to the beach and also a short drive to shops etc. We walked to Brixham and got the bus back which stops around the corner.

The only thing was the central heating never seemed to reach the set point but that maybe me. I have a hive system at home so I am used to it.

Clean, I liked the extra touches wine, shower gel. Lovely powerful shower. I liked the quietness of the surroundings first time in years I heard an owl hoot.

The bedroom was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well organised. Parking right outside was a real plus.

Nothing! In fact the worst thing was leaving to go home

Everything about Chauffeurs cottage was brilliant. From the well equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable bed, lovely shower room nothing was amiss every thing that we could possibly have needed was there. Plus there was a bottle of wine and a box of stollen as an arrival gift. We will definitely be back at some point .

The view from the property grounds is amazing. The cottage has everything needed to self cater and good location to venture out to the nearest attractions. Loved the welcome gifts with helpful hints and tips for pubs etc. A clean & tidy place to relax, the hosts Kath & Kev are friendly and helpful ! We had a stunning time 😎

I take my own footstool because I like to put my feet up but this is personal choice, not a dislike atall.

Second stay here for us and once again we loved it. The bed is so comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and everything you'll need. The shower is hot and water pressure is fab. Such a cosy, well decorated, comfortable cottage. We just love it! The owners are great and very friendly but certainly not overbearing. The view is lovely and the stargazing is awesome because it's lovely and dark. TV, electric fire, central heating, double glazed windows. Parking immediately outside. 100% recommend. Paignton is 5 mins drive. Brixham is 5 mins drive also. Dartmoor is 20 odd miles Torquay is 6 miles. There is a convenience store and cafe just up the road. Perfect!

Builders next door building a new house, but not too intrusive

Excellent location close to Goodrington Sands. Good for exploring Torbay, Dartmouth etc. Comfortable small cottage in grounds of owners hill top house.

The weather was lovely so we were out and about most of the time and we had everything we needed when back at cottage

As soon as we looked around the cottage we felt at home. The welcome pack was a real treat and everything we could possibly require was supplied which was great.The view of the coastline from the bedroom was wonderful to wake up to each morning. To see the stars at night was lovely.Location was superb as we were able to walk to coastal paths and also use public transport to visit Brixham and Paignton.
