They do have a limited dinner menu if you are thinking of eating at the hotel. However, as you are 5 min walk from restaurants This is not really an issue.

I wouldn't say I dislike the hotel for any reason but found it strange that it is described as 5 star as it doesn't appear to have many facilities. There's a tiny bar which staff will take your drink to other lounge areas. There is no swimming pool and the restaurant is only open in the morning for breakfast. If you require an evening meal, then you have to sit in your room! Bizarre. The shower needs an adjustable bracket otherwise the water goes everywhere.

Super room described as at the back of the property, which turned out to have a side sea view towards the pier. Fascinating over 100 year old lift which the staff would assist you with the doors. Staff were very pleasant and helpful when I needed to stay an extra day. The hotel has a very attractive frontage and parking permits available for £2.20 per day. Very centrally located. Very clean room and bathroom.

Nothing to not like.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious, very clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice, continental and traditional.

I think for a hotel like that the bill for our extras were written on a scrap piece of paper in almost unintelagable writing and we were not given a printed out one it was unproffesional. Another small thing there were no spare toilet roll in the bathroom. I tried to upgrade our room with booking.com but was told i couldnt but the hotel was nowhere near full ?

The staff were so accommodating and helpful always a smile and would help with any extra requests. We do not eat a full breakfast so asked would it be possible to just have some toast and coffee . They came with a pretty tray with toast tiny jars of jam and marmalade and butter and we sat out in the sunshine it was lovely .

We like boutique hotels with charm and especially if this is matched with great service. We received a very cordial welcome and the staff made our stay in Eastbourne very enjoyable.

I think your website advertising could be better. I didn’t know you had spa and gym for example until I saw in the room. also 4th floor delux rooms are quite hot in sunny weather.

I have been before and it’s a lovely small hotel that, nice staff.

Very steep entrance steps although we were informed that guide rails being installed shortly. The balcony is superb but could do with additional steps both inside the bedroom and outside on the balcony. The balcony could do with cleaning

Location was brilliant. Right opposite the beach. Two mins walk to the Pier. Easy to get to the Downs and Beachy Head. Very dog friendly. Lovely large clean bedrooms Good breakfast. Brilliant staff. Highly recommend The Chatsworth

Matt, the concierge was fantastic. He gave us a warm welcome and look after us sooooo well. The rooms were bright and airy, the rooms were well equipped. It felt like a home from home. The fireworks on the beach would have been missed if it were not for Matt.

Noticed the cleaner didn’t actually change my sheets when it had something on it (my dog was staying with me) she just made the bed again but i was only staying for one more night so didn’t say anything but other than that was very happy to stay there good price for good quality !

Lack of plug sockets. Access to Netflix, Amazon but lots of buffering due to internet speed.

Only real negative was the shower - it was more a trickle!

Nice size bedroom and bathroom. Great working vintage lift/elevator-reminded me of the move The Man with Two Brains. Fantastic breakfast (Mr Chester the Jack Russell approved too). Friendly and welcoming staff.

Great location. Room was clean and with part of view on the sea. Clean big bathroom and comfy bed. Lovely and helpful staff. Great location and we could leave bags after check out. We will definitely come back.

Housekeeping was not good.
