The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was very enjoyable and plentiful. The location on the sea front was amazing. The bedroom was immaculate although the en-suite was a little on the small side. Overall we had a great stay.

I was the only guest in the hotel so an upgrade to another room would have been a welcomed gesture. Nowhere to put toiletries near the sink or in the ensuite The room was cold on arrival so took all of my first night to warm up.

Room 10 has a very small shower cubicle and the shower is not at all powerful (we did discuss this with the owner and they have plans to update). Also a very low ceiling near the window. Tempur mattress doesn’t suit everyone and we didn’t find it especially comfortable. Breakfast is served 8-9am only and you can’t check in until 5pm.

The fact that breakfast was quite early 8-9 am. and you had to order your breakfast the night before. More like a b&b than a hotel.

The hotel was lovely and very clean. Nice breakfast. Peter the owner was very helpful recommending places to go. The hotel was very quiet. It was central and on the sea front lovely view from the balcony.

Complimentary water / biscuits replaced every day would be an appreciative touch.

Was good. Nicely presented. Fast. Maybe some vegan bacon. Hot croissants were really appreciated. Good quality juice. Own cafetière . Great surroundings with fab view over breakfast

On the whole we were very pleased, but the size of the room could have been bigger.

Friendly & accommodating approach from Peter when any requests were made. He also made a note of the requests which made us feel looked after.

The view was lovely, could hear the sea, loved having the patio doors and not just a window. Loved there were binoculars in the room, it was spotlessly clean and you could see they paid attention to detail. The bar was open till 11pm and also liked the smoothies.

The cooked breakfast was very nice, but you only got one of everything. Which is fine for me but it wouldn't be enough for my husband because he doesn't eat cereal or yoghurt.

Bed felt small. Rooms were warm but not their fault as it was hot.

I booked a B&B package and on check out was billed for our breakfasts, turns out I had only paid continental and not full English. I have spoken to the owner and to be fair although I didn’t query when I booked it on the type of breakfast we would receive, we had to complete a preorder slip each evening and the small print did say we would be charged for anything over and above a continental. I was high on holiday vibes and didn’t fully take in the small print as in my head I had paid for breakfast and so it didn’t apply to me. owner has accepted my comments and will make it clearer to his guests in future. Conclusion is we have all learnt from this and it didn’t spoil our stay, the owners were great, very welcoming and very hospitable.

The Bad Hidden charge of £9.50 per person for cooked breakfast was not showing on the website before booking. You have to pre order breakfast the evening before. On the website breakfast is from 8-10, in the guest information folder breakfast is at 0830 and on check in we were told breakfast was 8-9.. Too many rules. No shade provided for balcony. Water pressure was not the best. The upper deck terrace is the only outdoor seating area with shade but it is closed to guests after breakfast. One of the house rules is the wearing of face masks in the public areas, clearly just applies to guests as the family came and went during their day on the upper terrace without a mask in sight. Car parking of one car in front of another necessitates moving of cars to let others out in the mornings. A flask of fresh milk was provided on day one for use in the room but was removed on day 2 and never replaced. Our room was not cleaned on day 3 so we ran out of tea and coffee pods. Their website is out of date and still showing 2021 breaks. The Ugly There is a busy railway line very close to the rear of the property which is not mentioned anywhere but it was nicely screened off with some shutters. At certain times, there is also a faint sewerage pong which probablly comes from the beach or sea.

Amazing sea views. Good quality towels and bedding. Comfortable mattress. Very clean place. Good quality TV in the rooms. The Nespresso machine and binoculars were nice touches.

Breakfast’s were smashing! Lots on offer and always left feeling stuffed. Our room was extremely clean, light and airy. Perfect view of the sea. Definitely recommend for a relaxing trip. Good location as within walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. Peter is always friendly and very attentive. Definitely will stay again! Have already recommended to friends/family :)
