Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe had a budget room which although clean was a little disappointing as dull. No cushions, bed throw and furniture dated so next time would pay a little more as know other rooms there more inviting. Once curtains opened wondered if we could be seen by passers by? No voiles.
Central position with gorgeous views of the Stray with crocus ‘fields’! Easy walk into the town with superb shops. We visited The Cotswold shop as just moved and wanted to see furniture ‘in the flesh’ rather than just on line. Meet friends for meal, really good, at Portofino’s. Found super new cafe Artisan lovely moist cakes and helping SEN 16-23 year olds. Lovely friendly staff, good choice at self service breakfast stations with comfy seating. Had a good view out across The Stray.

United KingdomThere was mould on the bread at breakfast. They were extremely embarrassed and changed it straight away. Also, an alarm went off twice late at night from one of the other rooms. It wasn’t a fire alarm but an alarm for a disabled room. There was no need to have heard it in our room.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. Good breakfast. Great location.

United KingdomThe fire alarm going off at 1am in the morning for a short period of time or it may have been a smoke alarm not sure but we soon went to sleep again, a small mishap that could happen anywhere.
The hotel was ideal for our visit, close to the football and the town and a nice area to have a evening stroll.
