We absolutely loved our weekend stay in the cottage! Views wer amazing, the hot tub was just the icing on the cake!

Sitting in the hot tub each evening looking down the Mourns to the sea, Such a beautiful location, quite and relaxing. The property was large, clean and comfortable. The host was friendly, helpful and on site within minutes of a query. Looking forward to returning.

For a person who's never lit a wood fire hot tub before it took quite a while to get it lit the first time maybe better instructions may help with this bar after that it was fine. We did find when playing with our dog on the grass there was some old dog poo that hadn't been picked up but I do understand the grounds are quite extensive. So, checking this after every guest would be quite difficult.

Place was lovely and good enclosed space for our dog to run around in. Everything was clean and tidy and the view was beautiful. I will definitely be back again!

A few small things were missing. A good mirror, curtains or blinds on the upstairs bedroom window, a few kitchen utensils and a bigger kitchen table with enough chairs.

It was very clean, beds were very comfortable, the view is amazing and the hot tub was great.

That it took us until the next day to get the hot tub going has the wood was too wet. Also with it being pet friendly the gates outside r not secure enough for not to let your dog play outside on the green unless it on a leash

The location, the views and the space and cleaness in the house and a short car drive to Newcastle and in the summer go could to the beach

The hot water wouldn’t heat at times The stairs are a nice feature but don’t feel the safest The mattresses in the other 2 double rooms wernt great unlike the master rooms witch was nice The upstairs windows could do with blinds so in the mornings the sunlight dosent shine in

There wasn't anything I disliked ,sofas could be upgraded or new foam in seats,but other than that just perfect.

Everything was perfect,comfy beds, spacious living room, kitchen had everything you need, enclosed garden was great to keep dog safe,nice powerful shower,hot tub was great extra charge but well worth it ,so much to do nearby,shop and takeaway only 6 mins drive away,and to top it off Carrick café is a must for breakfast gorgeous little cottage with lovely views will definitely book again for next year.

Felt the living room could accommodate a large table, whereby 6/8 people could eat altogether. Kitchen table only really sat 4 comfortable.

It is exactly as described. Lots of outside grounds. Hot tub was a delight to sit in and take in the views of sea and mountains. Met host who seemed to be very pleasant and obliging. Will definitely return.

Honestly we would be nit picking to find something, I suppose the only thing that was a bit iffy was the internet connection now and then but the location of the property we would have expected that anyways.

We loved our stay, we didn't see staff so can't comment on that but that wasnt an issue as we were happy enough seeing to ourselves. My partner did meet the owner in passing and said she was lovely checking all was satisfactory for us etc we went as a family of 7 , 2 adults, 5 children ranging from 10 months to 11 years. We all loved it, was a proper home from home. The children said the beds were very comfortable. The garden was brilliant for them to play in. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub on our first night (we didn't realise the hot tub was at an added price per night but we can understand the reasoning for this & would recommend it) the views are unreal! We had sound sleeps each night, there were no noise issues at all. The house is spacious with all that you need in it. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful house in beautiful location. Gardens and surrounding views were amazing. House was spotless.Bedrooms super cosy. The hot tub made it . Myself,my Husband and our boys loved every minute. Silent Valley only a Stone throw away.Amazing Coastline views and beaches close by.

Noisy base on bed in main bedroom.

The house is ideal for hill walkers or those looking to just chill. The hot tub was great after a long walk in the mountains. Bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen had all we needed to cook with, although there are a lot of options within 6-7 miles to eat out. Really enjoyed the space in the living room and the board games during the evening. The garden was large and secure, our dog loved it.

There is not one thing I could say was wrong with the accommodation or the location

The accommodation was fantastic and Rachel was so helpful no matter what we needed. The scenery was exceptional and the hot tub was fantastic.

Was a bit disappointed there was no Bath as stated on the facilities list but there is a great shower and an outdoor hottub to soak in.

The location is ideal, mountain on one side and sea views to the other, house well equipped and Rachael very attentive. The carrick cafe nearby which is run by Rachael also is very quaint and quirky. Would definitely stay again.
