The mattress rather lumpy/hard & pillows flat as if they’d had plenty of use over years. Ideally could do with replacing. (Room 129) Coffee from the machine at breakfast week & tasteless.

Lovely clean fresh rooms, nice greeting up on arrival, friendly helpful staff, nice hot breakfast. Good location for tram.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Carousel Hotel. From the moment we arrived to leaving. Everything about this establishment is excellent. Friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious food, and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you ... trying to book again but having no luck as it's fully booked. If the staff read this pls can they help. I'm trying book a couple of days I March 25 for 2. Xxxxxx

We kept getting covered in cream paint dust from walls on our clothes and tile missing from ceiling in bathroom

Great place to stay. Breakfast great, room lovely and staff helpful. Bit further out central location but not a bad thing if you like a bit of peace. Besides, trams and buses are plentiful to get you where you want to be.

The room was a bit hot even with the windows open and couldn't seem to turn down the heat however I could have asked at reception, I am sure they would have helped, It wasnt too much of a problem. Our room was also directly above the entertainment which didn't go quiet until midnight, It didn't spoil our stay though as we were at the entertainment ourselves until 10.30.

The welcome was very warm and friendly. The food in the restaurant was exceptional with great service. we had an evening meal and breakfast. It was really good value. The room was clean and functional, and more than met our needs. Shower was hot and powerful which was great. Tram stop just outside made exploring Blackpool easy and convenient. Evening entertainment was great for families. lovely bar with a great atmosphere. Kids loved the pool table. They let us check in early to my room which was much appreciated. There was also plenty of free parking outside on the road and round the back of hotel. will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Thankyou carousel!

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Blackpool including the Big Blue, Sheraton, Imperial, Best Western, Premier Inn and the Doric and this is my favourite. Why? it's brilliant value for money, the rooms were exceptionally clean, food was great and the staff could not do enough for you. The lift to the rooms is a little quirky but that is what you get with an old building. It has a real homely feel and even though it's out of the way at the South Shore the tram stops right outside. If you want an evening meal the bar/restaurant serves great food. I decided to book and extra night and had to move rooms. Both of my rooms were to the same high standard. What's important to me is a great nights sleep, good breakfast and helpful staff and all at the fabulous price. This has it all.

The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable, and the entertainment downstairs went on till after midnight on the saturday and could be heard on 2nd floor, we had 2 children so was uncomfortable for them.

Location was good, room was clean and tidy, staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and evening food really good!

Only 1 think was the loud music at night but didn't spoil anything because we was to exhausted from our day especially when you've got young children.

We were very happy to visit this hotel due to our grandchildren dancing close by. The one night stay was perfect. Breakfast 8am lovely and all staff so friendly.

Poor WiFi signal in room but ok in communal area. . A good distance to walk into Blackpool but tram stop just over the road.

Very clean and comfortable. Good sleep, no noise. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking right outside the hotel and surrounding area. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. We will definitely be returning.
