Delicious breakfast, with nice touches like a little bowl of fresh fruit salad. Superb location, friendly and helpful staff. And they were happy to look after my luggage between check-out time and my departure time. Excellent all round.

Floors are creaky and can disturb your sleep. You can also hear toilets flushing from other rooms.

Very clean, you can see care and attention was given to ensure place is tidy and clean. We’ve stayed in a few guesthouses and hotels and this one is exceptionally clean.

On Booking.com I selected and booked another hotel and a couple of days later advised it was not available but showed alternative original booking was for from 18th but the alternative changed dates therefore upon arrival I found I had to look for accommodation on the first night on the island the Carnaburg where helpful but unfortunately they where full I therefore paid for 3 nights but only stayed 2 this must be an error with booking.com site

Warn friendly greeting and extremely helpful. Even to the point that as I needed to leave early on the last day they provide a sandwich for journey home as an alternative to breakfast

Nothing not to like.

Wonderful location, we were greeted warmly and led to a beautiful room with a sea view. The breakfast was very good and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay here. On-street free parking outside the property was very handy.

TV aerial plug was broken so TV wasn't working - managed to bodge it to get BBC 1 and 2 but that was all. Coombed ceilings made for an interesting experience when 6'2" tall!

Great location, very friendly and amenable host and excellent breakfast. Room was tidy with decent shower considering it was on the top floor.

Our room #3 did have a private bathroom but not attached to the room. Which we didn’t realize. You had to go into the hall down a step and into another door to access the shower and toilet. Not ideal but it worked.

The location was great. Breakfast was nice. Staff friendly.

Booking.com allowed us to make a reservation when Carnburg was at capacity. Had Bella not organised alternative (excellent) accommodation, we could have been stranded on Mull with limited options.

Bella was great and averted an issue caused by booking.com. Excellent host and I wish we'd had more time on Mull.

Parking at peak times is an issue there is no private parking and public car park is a short walkaway didnt detract from our stay

The room was on the small side but I understand planning permission has been obtained to make it bigger next year.

The bathroom was a little bit cramped.

Bella was a great host, always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was perfect, served to our taste and with no fuss. The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted and with a stunning outlook.

Perfect location opposite the harbour - only a couple of minutes walk from the bus terminal. Room was spotlessly clean. Bella was a very welcoming and helpful host

This observation applies to several properties I have visited of late: shower stalls are just too small. In general, people are becoming taller and wider, but modern stalls do not seem to reflect this.

Nice warm welcome and Bella is an extremely personable and helpful host.
