Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe bed was the only let down.the separate mattresses kept splitting in the middle and the mattresses could be doing with getting renewed.
Warm welcome from staff, room was bright and spacious. Warm and cosy room. Shower was great and Arran Aromatics shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc was a bonus as well as slippers dressing gowns. Hair dryer and straighteners amazing. Mini bar and snacks great too. Great location.

Lovely spacious room in a great location right on St George's square. In fact the airport bus stopped right outside the hotel which was a bonues. Also the hotel is just around the corner from Glasgow Train station. My accommodation booking included use of the executive lounge and as I was a little early for check in I was allowed to use the lounge and amenities (tea platter which was substantial). Also drinks and snacks in the evening. It felt like being at home.

The quality of the experience commenced from the time we were greeted by extremely friendly Reception staff and continued throughout our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities you would want in the room. In particular the complimentary mini bar and free drama of Whisky, Gin and/or Vodka was an amazing extra touch that you rarely see from hotels but puts Carlton George Hotel in another high end bracket for a reasonable price.

United Kingdomour room was not as good as our first stay, very tired and in need of some repairs, cracked bathroom tiles, leaking sink, skirtings coming away. Lights kept going off by themselves. But it was just that room.
fantastic location, wonderful staff. We love this hotel as it's so handy for the train station and you're not lugging cases far. Lovely stocked mini bar is always a bonus.

hotel is brilliant. but the windows restaurant was terrible we booked there for our anniversary meal . soup was cold the waiter took it away and told chef making fresh but it came back with fresh garnish on soup but the garnish i had took off earlier was on side of plate( microwave) my husband ordered a steak medium when it came presentation was horrible and blood pouring from it and my chicken was so dry. we returned both meals finished our wine and paid for our wine only ( the best part of our meal) then the waiter admitted it was an agency chef they had says it all. the hotel is really lovely so dont be put off it JUST dont use the restaurant.
