I couldn’t fault any part of our stay from the friendly welcome, travel advice (thankyou for the suggestions for our drive to Skye), beautiful comfortable and quiet room, fabulous shower, amazing breakfasts (try the whiskey porridge) and delicious dinner platter and dessert. If you are visiting the Balvenie and Speyside Cooperage tours are recommended and visit the Coos a few minutes walk away too.

We had a tremendous stay whilst walking the Speyside Way. Colin was extremely friendly and helpful. The good was delicious and nothing was too much bother.

Perhaps the April weather though the spring scenery was lovely. Otherwise, it was perfect. Would recommend having a car though.

We loved the country location and house - it was quite convenient having a very nice whisky distillery just a five minute walk away 😊. Other distilleries, fishing spots, restaurants etc. were quite close by car. Breakfast was delicious (perfect eggs) and our hosts could not have been nicer and more helpful. Sorry, I thought I reviewed earlier but I guess it didn’t go through. Highly recommend.

The location is fabulous, quiet and secluded, but easy driving distance to the surrounding sites in the area. The beds were very comfortable. The food was delicious. But most importantly, we really enjoyed chatting with our hosts, Colin and Sarah. They are fabulous and what make the Country House the perfect place to stay when visiting the area.

Warm house and very welcoming hosts. Our supper platter was very tasty and breakfast was excellent! Colin very kindly arranged a taxi for us and went out of his way to accommodate our early departure.

A unique germ right in the heart of cardhu. Very quiet l, spacious and clean. Colin as the the host is exceptional, very attentive and informative. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. Highly recommended if you are in the speyside

Log fires, amazing soup and sharing platters in a beautifully restored manse building, followed by a delicious breakfast. What's not to like? Our thanks to Colin and Sarah for their warm and generous hospitality. We had a marvellous stay.

We loved everything.

This was an amazing property and our room was extremely comfortable. We wished we could have stayed more than one night. The room was huge and everything was clean and thought out. Breakfast was delicious. My husband said the whisky porridge in the morning was the best thing he tasted in our 17 days in Scotland. The owners were very hospitable.
