I booked in to stay for one night. Room was fine but I ate in the restaurant. Best Italian food I have had in England. Absolutely delicious. The head waiter suggested a bottle of wine. Incredible. I cannot sing the praises high enough of the standard.

There are stairs to climb to get to your room. Not a deal breaker for us, just to be aware of if there are mobility issues or you're carrying heavy luggage.

Great location right beside the town center, about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The room was large, bed comfortable, overall quiet. Breakfast was pretty good. Also, the restaurant downstairs is amazing! My husband said he'd make a trip back for the lasagna alone.

Room very clean . a marvellous period property decorated lovely. Breakfast choice excellent lovely Italian meats ,cereals fruit etc and homemade delicious cake. Good quality coffee. Dinner extensive choice freshly cooked hot food . Service was warm and friendly.

Car park was a little cramped as I had a large estate car. Was disturbed slightly during the night by the sound of running water from the laundry room downstairs. Room was quite warm.

Really lovely and friendly staff, even provided a packed breakfast as I had to leave early on the Sunday morning before breakfast. Room was clean and very tidy. Location was in the middle of the town so very convenient. Will definitely stay again.

The property was really lovely. I was traveling with family so we had 4 of the bedrooms booked and all bedrooms were really beautiful. We stayed in the Beaumont room which was absolutely stunning! Incredible value for money. We will be back
