We absolutely loved Cantys! The couple who own the B&b were so friendly and helpful. The house was welcoming and beautifully decorated. We were made to feel welcome with a fresh coffee and shortbread on arriving!! The front of the house faces a large river and you can sit out the front or have a walk along. The room was comfortable and decorated to a high standard. We will definitely visit again!!!

Quirky, great rooms and decor. Met at front door by Steve. 10/10 full breakfast too. Dog friendly. If in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop at Canty’s again

Lovely hosts and amazing breakfast. The location is incredibly quiet and serene as the river runs at the back of the property. Great pub up the road where you stray into Scotland, the Cross Inn.

Steve was as warm and welcoming as the property. Great location if you’re exploring Holy Island and other glorious destinations in the area. And the breakfast was the best in alllll of the b&b’s I’ve ever stayed. Plus, I loved their sweet little kitty cats.

The only observation and by no means criticism, it could do with a sign, in keeping with the property, would just help a little when identifying the property. That's probably just me though 😅

Steve is an interesting guy. Very helpful and communicative. Great host. Beautiful location. Great shower! Breakfast was plentiful and perfect. Couldn't do enough for me.

There was nothing it was perfect

Everything, parking lots of room. The room was as picture and had everything you need. Loved the style and decor done to high standard. Breakfast was amazing and kept us fully for the morning ahead. Hoist very knowledgeable about the area and friendly made you feel at home nothing was to much . Will be rebooking and taking my granddaughter the place is ideal for family’s . Bed was comfy had lots of room.

Lovely welcome from the owners, great chats, any a very tasty breakfast! Clean and sacious room with modern en-suite and quiet location beside the river with a lovely walk along the riverside. Good quality bed and pillows, but they were a little firm for us. We appreciate that that's our preference and it is not a complaint. Great if you like a firm mattress. Close to Berwick-upon-Tweed and the beautiful coastline.

I loved the place can’t recall anything wrong. The room is spacious and very clean with tea/ coffee makers and snacks. The food were amazing and generous with lots of options

The location is spectacular, peaceful and so beautiful. Perfect place to chill relax and switch off stress and work. Steve and Paula were so lovely and friendly., very generous hospitality They even gave us a ride to the train station when couldn’t get a taxi. Can’t recommend enough . The photos on the website doesn’t do justice. The place is way more beautiful.

The hosts are so welcoming and their house is amazing, the rooms are very spacious and comfy! The family room bunks are funky and kids loved them! Breakfast is amazing and not to be missed! Defo recommended the cooked brekkie!!
