There was an issue with ice on the hottest day so far (they had none) and i wish they had AC but did get some ice eventually and lots of windows in the room so no disaster Would be nice to have a USB charging point

Lovely large room, however no full length mirror. The only one is in the bathroom, not good with electrical appliances! Bed was large and comfortable. Courtyard for breakfast was lovely, albeit a little slow.

Wasn't keen on my evening meal on 1st evening. Fish was very greasy. I know it was fried fish but compared to a fish & chip shop it was greasy. Rest of meals were very nice.

The Hotel is in lovely grounds and if the weather had been better we could have enjoyed them at our leisure. The rooms were very spacious and it was lovely and quiet for sleeping 😴 We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was lovely and we couldn't fault it

Very thin walls and we could hear the people next door during the night. The cost for pets is very high considering there aren't any facilities for pets and the dog poo bin was overflowing. The decor was dated and the grounds needed maintenance.

We liked the restaurant and half-board option. The park and electric car charger close by were a bonus for our children and pets and journeys.

My only criticism is please can you put some mirrors above the desks so i can dry my hair! the last room I had the mirror was above a fireplace and I could not see in it at 5ft2! I’ve had to use my mobile phone as a mirror which is not ideal!

it’s lovely hotel in a perfect location, you can walk into town with ease. it’s so handy with being able to park too. I stay with work so it’s a little like a home from home for me now.

Unfortunately the room gets cold over the night and morning and the hitting was turned on for a part of the night and from 7am even though the building was full of guests. There was no small fridge in the room or microwave in the building , so traveling with little children makes it more challenging.

service at the bar was extremely slow. we sat, waited, ordered and to then be told what we had ordered drink wise they didn’t have certain things in stock for the cocktails. so we ended up leaving after 30 mins. not having had a drink nor made a food order.

Let down by restaurant - Dinner - the food was very good but menu was average with not much choice. Breakfast was good but expensive. Mirror in the room was above a tall fireplace: I'm short so couldn't see to dry my hair.

Room was exceptional and incredible value. Set in parkland and very quiet. Bed was so comfy I could have stayed in it all day!

The room was lovely, including great bathroom and shower, and the evening meal and breakfast were very good. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating, particularly the receptionist Tom who even got in touch with me after I left because I had forgotten something. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if in the area.
