Couldn't connect to wi-fi. One of the water bottles in my room was partly used. TV remote was missing. Not many options for breakfast if you're a vegetarian.

Bed was comfortable and I slept well. Staff were pleasant and responsive. Parking right outside the hotel.

Confusion about breakfast, was overcharged and had to ask for black pudding and fried bread that was supposed to be included but wasn’t on plate. Staff member unable to make a refund on managers day off? Noisy when band played in pub. Nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom -no light on bathroom mirror. Had a view of rubble and compost heap.

Room was comfortable and staff were nice. Good parking and good location. Ironing board and nice water/lots of tea coffee supplied in room.

Is was a last minute choice. Lovely setting, pretty garden and courtyard. My room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a door into the garden with a little patio. Dinner in the Stables was lovely as was breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would return

Informed on our arrival that the restaurant was shutting at 7pm, not great when you've paid for your evening meal, we ended up not using the restaurant and ended up out of pocket. We were offered a voucher for a future visit but no good to us as highly unlikely to return again.

This hotels provides everything I need to be able to work away from home with my pet in comfort and without hassle. Flora is extremely welcoming and friendly and will sort anything out she can, as will the rest of the team. All staff are very welcoming and accommodating The Garden view rooms are comfortable, a very good size and nicely kept Bar area is welcoming and relaxed with a more formal area further back

More than happy with our stay.

Our room with access to the patio and garden was beautiful and more spacious than expected. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Our family joined us for delicious pizzas in the attractive Briars courtyard.

We thought breakfast was included in our stay but it wasn’t so when we had to pay for it we thought it was very expensive for the “warm” option which was £15 for a bowl of porridge or two boiled eggs.

Cleaning could have been a little better - on the whole it was very clean but there was fluff on the chair and some dirty drips on the wall. The music playing in the restaurant at breakfast was too loud - is it needed?

Friendly staff, fabulous room with king sized, comfy bed and a huge bathroom with whirlpool bath. Breakfast was very generous and well cooked and presented.
