Lovely location, clean and comfortable room, delicious breakfast and friendly staff

The shower area had no door, as part of the design. We didn't want to leave the window open at night, even though it was very warm, as it looked as if there was easy access to the roof to enter the room. We did utilize the fan which provided some relief.

Clean, modern, comfortable room which I was told was an upgrade as different to description. Breakfast was included in the price which was plentiful and delicious, as was dinner which we had on the first night

The bed was very hard, that was the only issue with the location.

Very nice hotel and in a great location, its been decorated beautifully. Also free parking right behind the venue.

Only thing I found uncomfortable was the pillows. Very hard, would have liked the choice.

There were only two pillows on the double bed. I would have loved a coffee machine. The tide was out when we arrived and the next day when we left, sadly.

We had dinner, very enjoyable, breakfast was very good but all the staff were excellent, a credit to the hotel.

We have stayed at this lovely hotel a few times and each time we’ve received a warm welcome. We were unexpectedly upgraded to the annex which was really appreciated; it was a very relaxing and quiet room. The bed was comfortable with nice furnishings- the pillows were a little firm but otherwise no complaints. The bathroom was modern with a fantastic walk in shower. There were two windows, with blackout curtains, offering a welcome breeze. It’s situated on the seafront and when we arrived at 11:30am, the sheltered seating area at the front was half full with people enjoying coffee and brunch; there was a lovely atmosphere. The guy behind the bar, who had just started at the hotel, served our coffee and was extremely polite. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing really. Cant complain about it being warm and opening the windows will obviously bring some noise being on the seafront but thats a small pric eto pay. Fans were available but rather have fresh air

Great location right on the seafront. Parking ample directly behind the hotel. Great breakfast and superb service. Very friendly staff. Rooms small but more than ample and very comfortable

It was difficult to squeeze the shower gel/shampoo out of the container with 1 hand, so you had to squeeze with both hands then scoop it off of the bath.

I was using a voucher booking The Camelia Hotel for an afternoon tea, when we see the picture of the hotel we decided to book a room for the night, we are so pleased we did. We were upgraded to a seaview room. The room was very clean and had a lovely view, the bed was extremely comfortable. We had evening meal at the onsite restaurant this was very nice and good value for money Breakfast was tasty and a good selction. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We really appreciated the help of the manager when he assisted us with our transport problem.

We had hot weather during our stay, and we only had a small fan, which meant our room was very hot. A heatpump would help. Also there are stairs to the rooms.

The owner was very friendly & helpful. He even mended my shoes for me. The restaurant was good too.
